Joaquin Diaz Bonilla joins the Sharks . . .

The Pumas flyhalf Joaquin Diaz Bonilla has joined the Sharks and will be ready to play for them next week.

Bonilla becomes the latest in a long line of overseas flyhalf signings for the Sharks and follows in the footsteps of Thierry Lacroix, David Knox, Gregor Townsend, Tony Brown, Freddie Michalak, Juan Martin Hernandez and Andy Goode. Let's hope Bonilla has an impact like Michalak rather than the useless Goode!

Looks like Curwin Bosch will either have to accept his position at fullback or look for another team.

I suspected that the Sharks were looking for some one to replace Bosch and I thought that Jordan Chait would come in at some point but I see that he has been loaned to play for Tel Aviv Heat in Israel.

Nevertheless I think Bonilla could well do the Sharks good.

Yes I see that but having depth in 10's has augered well for Sharks in past...ie Lambie and Michalak options.
