In the last 2 bledisloe matches JOC has been a liabilty in defense, he was always nowhere near his place and 6 tries come from his side, all of the AB except those of Cruden (which came after a charge down) and C. Smith.
Do you think that Meyer will target his side with Habana?
JOC, next Bok's target?
i didnt even recognise ur name till u popped on the other thread, LMAO, :oP
i think oconners been a little hard done by, of the 6 tries scored on his wing, he was only responsible for one of them and that was the ben smith try from the cruden offload. bieber should have trusted AAC to take out cruden and he instead came of his line.
two of those 6 tries though happened when bieber was playing fullback, so it wasnt really his side.
the scond try down his was a case of numbers, All Blacks had too much and the wallys couldnt scramble outwide fast enough where McCaw and others were not marked.
bieber did everything he could, but the All Blacks know when to pass and simple textbook execution saw that try.
the 3rd one and the first try to ben smith in test 2 was genia and moggs fault, they both dropped back and left oconner to defend the blinside when the All blacks had massive numbers there. bieber was left with moore and mowen on his inside and the All Blacks just ran straight for bieber and forced him to commit before quick hands and the numbers game saw them punnish the wallys.
the scond try was sparked by luatuas break after luatua carved up the oppoistion and then beat a woeful mogg. it was bieber who made the try saving tackle on luatua and stoped bhim from scoring, but the wallys failed to scrmable their defnece in time and the All blacks quick hands once again went booyaa.
its an area worth exploring, but if the Boks think its an area of wekaness without taking the factors into context, theres going to be some miserable looking Bok players flying to NZ, :o)
He is responsible for none. He did not get charged down. He did not throw a bad pass, or get charged down, or threw the ball out of the ruck or fuck up the scrums
you're right naru, the last 2 tries of the first match weren't his fault cuz he was at FB position since Kuridrani entered the field replacing Mogg. When seeing AAC as the last man and a big gap next to him I assumed that someone was missing there but AAC wasn't playing as a center but as wing.
Anyway, even if it's not totally JOC'S fault the wallabies left a big channel in their left wing which allowed 6 tries.
Meyers only target is to get Morne to kick away posession. Brian will go missing after all his travels so no need to think about this at all.
Do you suggest we throw it around and get 7 pointers put on us cause of oncoming forwards dropping ballls?
@ABwatsegoetersfan
Left wing is not a channel. Its space and do we blame Hooper cause McCaw scored? No. Go look how a defensive system works first please.
