Johan Sadie looked like he was going to be a Springbok when playing as a reserve to Jaques Fourie@ the Stormers.

He then signed a move to go to the Bulls to get more game time, then shortly afterwards Jaques Fourie moved to Japan. Otherwise Sadie probably would have stayed at the Stormers.

He got injured for much of the season in 2012 and then he was also blamed for the defensive lapses at the Bulls. He got relegated to the bench and sometimes even dropped from the squad.

I still think he could push himself back into being a Springbok.

The Cheetas style of play should suit him.

Good video showing his pace, which is equal to any wing.

He is a skillful player with a good step and from what I have seen decent passing skills

There is a very real problem for centers in accordance with the Bulls line of play.   First of all playing outsde of Morne Steyn - your chances of ever getting a decent ball to attack with is remote.   Then you have two classic ctashballerrs in Olivier and Venter.   No wonder Sadie failed at  center bearing in mind also his injuries and the resultant lesser game time.   The Bulls then selected Engelbrecht at 13 - where in he CC game in particular he also failed bady.

I would say that playing at center for the Bulls can be regarded as a players career graveyard.  Bad news that one and especially centers should consider this aspect before they sign contracts with he Bulls.  I would say yes - Sadie has a good chance to restore his reputation playing for the Cheetahs.

There are several reasons why our backs crashball, notice how Sadie receives the ball in space and on the run, now all he needs to do is to find the running line and to beat off the tackle and  because he has momentum the latter becomes so much easier as opposed to receiving the ball when flatfooted.... it's no wonder our players crashball.

Yep this lad has talent and injury forced him onto the back foot at the Bulls. Poor management at the Bulls saw him lose confidence. If they had backed him and let him settle, he might still be there.

He should enjoy the Cheetahs as they play attacking rugby. The only issue is that the Cheetahs are an average side and he might spend much of the time tackling with little ball in hand
