Joke White: Time for the snake to slither off

What a disaster last night. How on earth did he think he could win with club players that are the worst of SA professionals. These are players that were picked from Currie cup teams. They are by no means the best Given so many professional players, 600+ are playing abroad. These were the ones that couldn’t get an overseas contract that stayed behind. 

What SA coaches don’t realise how professional the Europe teams have become. They might not have a conveyer belt of talent, but they look after their players. We saw no name brands become star players for their clubs because they get a chance to play, often, and the coaches work on then. 

Joke was so arrogant to think that he could pull this off. I would be okay if it was a URC tour of 3 weeks. Then I would say go for it. 

Yet, Joke thinks he could just let the biggest prize in club rugby slip away and only focus on URC. 

It may be that they couldn’t qualify for a home semi because of the stipulation give SA is not a full member and will only be one next year and therefore try to get the highest ranking, but it still doesn’t mean you should do this to the fans. 

What an opportunity to make a statement. For years we have been debating that the Southernmost hemisphere teams would walk over the European teams. 

Like I said, the conditioning of the players as well as the professionalism has gone up several notches. We saw an SA A team, brimming with talent get swept aside by a Bristol B team. Rugby is a team sport and players need time together over several seasons. Northampton has shown how lethal they have become. 

Jake has all the luxury and money, but yet he thinks he can just mess around. 

I still believe we play too much club rugby. I would rather see more test rugby that means something. A international provincial game with quality and none of this garbage. 

I do think we need to sort out the URC and European championship. I would rather have a league. No finals, and then a knock out comp. 

Jake can just fuck off now 

Next Friday's match vs Munster is way more important. 

As the commentator said when an image of Jake in the box was shown during the game …’one of the great men of world rugby’. He certainly is having won a Trinations and a World Cup, and having coached all over the world.

Jake is all about the rugby, he is doing what he wants to do…coach a rugby team. If he gave his team a rest, he never lingered back home himself .

White is also a coach whom noboy wants to renew a contract with,   Why should that be?    When he was not effective - like happened in he case of the Sharks - they did  not like to retain him for obvious reasons and told him to resign or he will be fired.    A  very limited thinker on strategy - he  had a very limited game plan - since he had a zero knowledge about coaching  backline players.   

Also he had a weird selection of playes to join the franchise or club where he coach and when given an unlimited budget by the Bulls main owners -  he buggered it up totally by contracting duds.   His time is getting short at the Bulls and I do think he will have to have the luck of a poxdoctor for his contract to  be nenewed.   

Just for the record  Erasmius was in charge when the Springboks 3 WC  winners  and a RC trophy - so he is by a proverbial mile better than Jake.

LOL Toulouse just whacked a full strength Exeter by 64-26 an even bigger margin than the Bull's B Team got thumped yesterday but I guess Exter won't be investigated for fielding a weak team.

G iven the squad the Bulls have they can beat any club/provincial side on the planet. Believing you are anything less is piss poor form and clearly the mentality the wonderful Jake White has surprise, surprise.

Sure believing is one thing, in any one off game a team may play beyond itself or the other team may have an off day but 9/10 Toulouse or Leinster are going beat the Bulls because they are simply the better team.

LOL Leinster are just trolling at the moment, RG Snyman  and now Jordie Barrett signed for next season. As if they they weren't good enough at the moment.

I don't see how the team that he put out was going to gain any experience. Especially when you have some has beens in the team that are not collecting their pensions, add that to you 600th SA wingers in De Klerk and Stravino Jacobs. Probably only 2 players I would rate and that is Cameron Hannekom, Zak Burger. Jan Hendrik Wessels was on the bench. Gumede still need to find his feet. 

This team lacked cohesion and structure. 'The attack looked blunt.
