I also find his blowing his own trumpet regarding followers to be conceited. Maybe he is family of Beans? 

 Oh he is Beans kinda guy alrighty .Was a crap ref when he was in the game ,just a noisy irrelevance now.The Kardashian slagettes have more followers by a factor of about 10 bajillion I would bet and they have done about as much for rugby.

this is pure biased BS,.... the Lions were also "taking out players off the ball, illegally clearing out players at rucks",... the Lions were offside more than once, blatantly sometimes,... so what?
it's impòssible to have a perfect refereeing,.... Peyper was consistent with both sides, didn't influence the outcome of the game and did't have any big or remarkable mistake,.... he had a good game

Yes, British and Irish Lions prop Mako Vunipola did grab All Blacks' opposite Owen Franks by the scrotum.

Reports of the incident, during a scrum in the first test between the Lions and All Blacks at Eden Park, came to light on Thursday. All Blacks coach Steve Hansen dismissed the whole thing, said Franks hadn't mentioned it and urged everyone to move on.

does anyone read anything about Franks complaining about it? does anyone read anything about Hansen behaving like Gatland did re Murray's tackling (crying to the press and claiming that the AB were trying to injure him)?
No, they just said to move on,... something that many people (including Gatland and Kaplan) should learn to
