Lets start a campaign to get this youngster in the Springbok squad.   He really is something special - a brilliant player coming forth.   I think the following should be borne in mind:-

*   He played an exceptional game in the game against England in the Junior World Cup - and made the forth try that resulted the Junior Boks being in the semis of the Junior WC.  Unfortunately he was injured early in the next game - but he made his mark already.

*   The next game he played in was against the Reds in the play-offs.  Scored a brilliant try - largely made by his innovative play - ran round Pietersen on the wing - allowing Pietersen to run at an angle inside and was there to get the ball and scored under the posts.

*   He was the only Sharks player that really sparkled in the final against the Chiefs - broke brilliantly through half the Chiefs defenders -but there was no support when he was ultimately tackled about five meters from the tryline.

*   Scored a excellent try against the Stormers in the CC- when he outpaced of all people Aplon.

*   Cause havoc in the next CC game as well.  Made a number of really telling runs and wWas instrumental in a tackle that kept the ball off the ground causing a turnover.

I think he is constantly improving in every game he plays in.   The guy has a number of elements in his favour:- namely great ball sense, speed, capacity to make clean back line breaks and is a good defender.   To my mind h is a much better center - who can also play on the wing - than Emgelbrecht and should be in the Springbok squad.

lets be honest he is class. he has al the skills that can make him a massive force. that being said can he cope in a bok backlinie coached by the likes of ricardo and HM...the boks playing pattern wont suite his style. he is the future i must admit i am very amped to see him go futher. he is still very raw but has all the skills to be the best

Gotta agree with muffineater

He is really classy.

But he, along with the likes of J de Jong and Whitehead may struggle under HM and RL.

Players like these need to be able to express themselves with ball in hand and unfortunatly the current coaching tenure won't allow much of that due to their structured approach.

Look how guys like Lambie, Jordaan and Whitehead have thrived at the Sharks where Plumtree has given them rope.

He wants his players to enjoyt themselves on the field.

Look, Plum aint the best tactician or tech coach, but what i love about his approach is his ability to get his players to be expressive.

He is a much more developed centre than JJ who came on and lost the ball as his only contribution. Jordaan, not JJ, is our future 13.

Gentlemen, I couldn't agree more, Paul Jordaan is the best man for the number 13 job and should be blooded in on the EOYT 2012. He has all the skills of a great centre, silky hands, runs insightful lines, passes and offloads beautifully and defends like a trojan.

Just one problem.......HM.
