Let’s be honest here, even if Jorfie were to quietly think that AE is a far better playmaker than DDA, he’s still going to parrot the mainstream hype.

Why? Because DDA has been hand picked and hyped by Dr. Lucky so many times that the narrative is already baked in.

The media loves the big name hype story, so it’s easier to go with that version, than actually acknowledge who’s performing better on the field.

Amazing BS. Why does Erasmus prefer to use Esterhuizen as a loosie? The real problem is that Esterhuzien has physicality strength - but his decisionmaking is poor and slow. That is why when he played at center in 21 tests he scored only 2 tries and in 4 matches he was used on the bench as a loosie he scored a try, He is not a better playmaker - not even close, In all he tests he played in he was involved in one try-assist.

So his reals stats is very clear - if he is to be played he sh ould be used as a loosie, If opposing players say De Allende is very difficult to deal with tthen I beleive them. The stats statement is useless and it has no bearing.on reality, On test level De Allede has much better stats than Esterhuizen - he has statstically more try-assist than Estehuixn has per test played as Esterhuien has, This year in 5 mathes played on URC level the Sharks backline misfired totally,- so it is all Plumtree's fault.

De Allende plays rugby in Japan for very good rasons - he made more money - but in Japan the rugby is more based on sound decisionmakng and pace than it is in the URC. Jordie Barrett would know - he played rugby inapan before and last season in Leinster, On test level Jordie played many tomes against De Allende and same happened when he played in Japan - so one can expect that he knows what he talks about while you talk about ESPN stats raken out of contents, White did not regard Esterhuizen as his first choice no 12 - and tried him out as a loosie, - but he showed nothing as well and ended up using Bosman at inside center when he did not use Fat Fransie at center.

In the slow moving England rugby is played as a slow pace and strength was acceptable . After trying Esterhuizen a number of times at test level in 2018 and 2019 Erasmus did not select Esterhuizen as part of the 2019 RWC squad and when Kriel was injured - Erasmus called up the inexperienced Willemse to replace him, In hs first test ever Willemse scored a try - it took Esterhuisxen used at center in 21 tests he scored 2 tries - not this year Esterhuizen was rarely used at center for the Springboks in 2021 and 2022 - but based on his English performances - he was only used in two tests in the RC campagn in 2023 - namely against Georgia and Tonga. In 2024 Ersmus selected Esterhuzien to play inside center and in less than 3 minutes he was red-carded and banned for 4 weeks, After the ban Erasmus refused to use Esterhuizen in the Springbok squad in the RC tests - but used Esterhuizen only in ne test agaist the weak Wales team. This year he played thus far Esterhuize started in only one test - and when he did play he as used as a loosie and not as a center for obvious resons and the test against Japan proved he is a better loosie than center,
