Juandre Kruger was selected as the best 5 lock among all those on view this week. Poor Mike and Dave have suffered so much humiliation already, I was almost inclined to let this pass. But the the Swami continued to beat up on Kruger, after any fair rugby fan would have said he had a fine game. So, nah, the record has to be clarified.

5 Juandre Kruger (South Africa)
Called the impressive Springbok line-out and made a nuisance of himself on opposition ball on top of his hard work in loose play which saw him cover plenty of ground.
Bubbling under: Joe Tekori (Tonga)

Moz Agreed Juandre did not have a bad game, but the best nr 5 lock of the weekend, I really disagree. they claim the good showing of the linout too Juandre's Name and yes he does play a part, but off course the linout competition came from Etzebeth and Alberts. With that I am not saying that Juandre did not play his part he did in marshalling the calls and setting up which lineouts to compete in and which to leave wt ehich he is brilliant. However I think the best 5 lock of the weekend should go to Tekori from Tonga, and then to Luke Romano. Juandre comes in at 3 here.

Just to clear things up.....I like the guy but come on fair is fair.

Junadre certainly has not been as bad as some think but he is not the future and simply lacks the clout of a really good lock. He works hard though and covers the ground.

I am looking for another Etzebeth . Hoping Du toit is the deal.

Ek the team is selected by a panel of 5, and Kruger was the only 5 lock who received more than a single vote. He took the bulk of our lineouts, and wasn't afraid to call his own number in tight spots. Not a dominating performance, but a very competent one.

Hasbeen, I also hope all the hype around Steph du Toit isn't misplaced. But he looked distinctly undercooked in his S15 outings.

So the Telegraph gives him a rating of 5 and he makes the team of the week, what a joke.

Jeandre Kruger is not physical enough for test rugby, end of. This is on a par with Moffies pathetic call on another bog ordinary lock in Johan Muller. I give Kruger his dues he is far better than Muller, but test lock he is not.

I take it Jeandre made the side but Etzebeth didn't?

But test lock he is Dave.....and in a huge forward battle, he came through with flying colours. Just because your lips are moving or your finger is twitching....doesn't make it true.

Make fewer bombastic statements, and provide some reasoning, examples or stats.

These teams of the week are ofren enough some really funny selections - so I think this selection was one of those.
