Named u20 world rugby championship player of the tournament, looks a frightening talent, 6ft 2, 115kg, can offload, makes metres

Hope he goes on to fulfil his potential

That guy is frightening when it comes to 8's.   I think he would very soon becomes a legend in Springbok rugby,   That is the type of loosie we really are looking for,

AS was that center who in his coach's words is  no center at all.

Its early days to be calling him a legend, but from what I understand, the boy can play! Is 6"2 not a little short for an 8th man? I assume he is done growing up and will only fill out.

I do not think he is 6'2 - more like 6,4/5 if he is compared with the 6'9 locks lie Stassen.  Built like a tank though - there is a photo of him on planet rugby - take a look and judg e for yourself.

OuMaaik, we're long overdue in producing a 'superstar' & I'm hoping Augustus is that man ........ sure looks the part, to the manner born  ... a monster, & hopefully on a lengthy WP contract as well .

Height is not everything, and he is hardly a shorty, but he is just shorter than most no.8's I can think of off the top of my head.

Sounds like a shorty, but hey with a name like Augustus he has to be a legend.

Thanks for bringing this back,  I agree my opinion then expressed was premature - one must be careful what one writes on junior players on site,   Now go and find the one where you reduced the ball carries of players for alleged mistakes they made,
