He is on the bench again.... I wrote an article on this recently. The Bulls are calling it a rest, but things are not looking great for him, and he will most likely find himself on Ebay sooner than later.

No he is not on the bench you prick he is being rested after hardly missing a minute in the s15.
He was a wing and is now a damn fine centre poorly treated by our ignorant coach along with many other young sters

JJ must be keen to play so that he can push his back into the Bok squad if their are injuries.
Additionally the Bulls lost both games and are in dire straights, logic dictates that they would play one of their few Boks that are not currently in the squad.

Of course he is being dropped. The part of this I disagree with is the idea that he will succeed on the wing. Have you ever seen this mope take a high ball, or take a player out against the touchline. He had a chance to take Savea out against the Boks at Ellis Park...fails...AB try. He is better suited to a male modeling career.

So the Bulls coach says he is resting him but authoritive idiots like yourselves tell us he has been dropped....oh boy can it get more ridiculous?
So clueless Meyer drops JJ and brings in fourie who was nothing short of an insult in his 3 tests gaining all of 13m in total and not beating a single defender.
From there we moved to JP at 13 who was marginally better than fourie but ultimately a complete flop.
And now we have De allende who has done what exactly?
So it begs the question did Meyer get it right dropping JJ after his fantastic performance with ball in hand against NZ beating savea with pure skill, stepping Cruden for dead and running straight through smith.
A wise coach would have been licking his lips at that display against the best side in the game - but no our clown instead discarded him for fourie and in the process left JJ out in the wilderness - this sums up just how fucking useless Meyer is

Sorry - but you are wrong. He played in the Wp on the wing and was in fact contracted by the Bulls to play on the wing. He was put in the center position because the Bulls could not handle a real center - Johann Sadie - whom they contracted at the same time.
The only time Engelbrecht played at center was when he was used by the Bulls in that position. I saw him playing on the wing and he was really good in that position. His problem is not high balls - it is the fact that he is not really a good kicker of balls. Maybe a good thing - since I am really not interested in aimless kicking so much appreciated by others.

I think that Engelbrecht dod one or two noteworthy things playing at center - but on the wholle he is not really a good center. There are question marks - and plenty of those - in respect with his center play and I think that he would do much better playing on the wing.

Fat Dave,
Can you post some YouTube videos of Super JJ vs the All Blacks last year, or at least point to the exact times in the match when these escapades happened.
I would very much like to see these. I do not remember much from JJ at all. I remember Jean running through a defensive line and their was no gap, but just running through it taking players on his back..
Cmon, where exactly is the moments. What are the exact times in the match.

Either give the exact times so that all that can, or stop speaking about your JJ fantasies.

This is the highlights of JJ in 2013. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdhx9Gio0o0
He does have one good run against the All Blacks, although it was a good pass from Jean Devilliers.
JJ runs onto it and it looks like Savea is flat footed and misses. It then look like Mccaw trying to do a cover tackle, but is not quick enough.
JJ did have a good start to the season, but mostly against the minnows when in space. More of a flat track bully at centre, and like most people say he could have some potential on the wing where he can use his pace.
