whats next, an article about the warriros are leading the race to get saveas signature??? LMAO, :oP

family will be the big draw card, but i love how hes also following nonus movements carefully, if nonu goes to hurricanes that might be enough to entice him to stay, meaning the hurricanes and especially cockhead hammet needs to pull his head out of his ass and let bygones be bygones.

still think nonu should stay with the highlanders though,,,
9 a smith, 10 l sopoaga, 11 b potualii, 12 m nonu, 13 j emery, 14 p osbourne, 15 b smith.
20 f tanaka. 21 h parker, 22 s treeby

thats a backline that coulc  hold its own with the best of them, a little low on flyhalf stocks though, no thanks to brokeback cowboy slades depature.
highlanders need a decent flyhalf, sopoaga and parker are good, but there are better out there. IMO elton janties or willi ripia would be a nice fit for the highlanders.

Yeah all speculation at the moment but what would the Chiefs backline look like with both Savea and SBW in it . World beaters?

@steiny,

9 t kerr barlow, 10 a cruden, 11 j savea, 12 SBW, 13 t nani williams, 14 t marshall, 15 g anscombe
20 a pulu, 21 r robinson. 22 a horrel

no room for c ngatai, b aki, a tikrotuma,

so what would the chiefs backline look like with savea and SBW??? o_O
it looks pretty freaking ridiculous really, that is some insane depth and i will gladly put an easy hundy on them to win it 2014.

i love the look of the william cousins at center though, power and pace, a real thunder and lighting combo right there.

its the perfect backline to counter the toulon juggernaut.

Say no more bro. Pretty wicked alright that line up . Dave Rennie knows how to rotate his players too so injuries would'nt have much effect .

What i can't understand is why Hammet would let him go for in the first place?

Just the talk of it is incurring the wrath of the fans. Surely Wellington is'nt short of a dollar after all it's our capital and they bought the Phoenix did'nt they?

@steiny,

cos hammet is a chch fuckwit (no offence to caterbarians).

as a cane supporter i have a bit of empathy with what the Bok fans are going through with meyer, cos hammets doing th eexact smae thing, worst hurricanes coach ever.

we need to sack hammet now and bring in tana umaga as the next hurricanes coach, bring back some of that hurricanes culture.
hurricanes culture may not have won any titles, but we were always in the running and played the best attacking rugby out of everybody.

hammet and those ass clowns known as the hurricanes board all need to get two boots, a boot out the door and a boot in the head.

It's not a done deal yet, i.e. not clear if he is going to the Chiefs. See this article in the Hearald

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11117083

It will be sorted soon. For sure he is a talent to watch and will have an impact whereever he goes.
