Over eating seemed to be a problem, as he lost fitness. Then he lost pace as well- but that might not just be related to eating.

Must say Julian Savea is looking huge these days.
Had to laugh at Boud jellal's comment where he's asking for a DNA test because the real Savea must have been switched with a fake on the plane to France.

I don't think there is a problem with the standard of the NZ players playing in Europe. There can't be, they are proven world beaters. I think it is more matter of them battling to acclimatise to a different team culture. Weather we like it or not, there is something that the New Zealanders are doing right in New Zealand, that the rest of us just don't seem to be able to consistently replicate. The rugby sides from the rest of the world seem to ebb and flow, but somehow NZ is always at or very near the top. I also think that is the difference between them winning and losing. They often come up against teams that are on paper, just as good as them, but their mentality is just on another level, as indicated by their win ratio. When they are removed from that environment, the mindset also changes.
If you have ever played a sport (its happened to me quite a few times playing tennis specifically) and have been beaten by someone you know is nowhere near your level, then you know what I am talking about. You somehow drop to their level because you know you don't have to try as hard, and when you try to push your standards back up to your capability, you can't, and you land up losing to a vastly inferior player.

'He suffers from anger issues and depression. A tough combination to live with'......says Turncoat in a rare moment of honesty.
Savea beats his wife, but he is really the victim.
I prefer to think of men that do that as thugs.

Not sure if he regularly beats his wife, he did hit her though.
She gets targetted by Trolls on Twitter. If someone is famous or knows someone that is famous, I am not sure Twitter is a good idea. People will always target you here.
Trump gets clobbered on Twitter, but he has thick skin so he can deal with it.

Please note that the same stinking hypocrites who are still dumping on Julian Savea's incident from years ago that he expressed remorse for are the same Trumpanzees who worship at the shrine of the disgusting misogynist Donald Trump who treats all women like dirt and is proud of it.

Moffie, if you don't like it you could always act a bit more "vigorously" and push this topic off the page with a whole series of childish little "topic 1/2/3" threads. I think you only got to #20 last time.
LMAO!

I could, but more logically you could simply obey the rules you tediously try to enforce. Do what you preach as it were....there's a good Peeper.

Not that it means anything for the discussion, but have any of you seen the movie Once were warriors? Hectic movie which I am sure rings true for many people where there is a clash between culture, alcohol and poverty, but a bloody good movie none the less!
