Looking forward to the Junior World Cup starting Cape Town Saturday.

As in the Rugby World Cup the New Zealand team is not the top dog.

Last time we won it at home in 2012.

Most noticable players emerging were Pieter Stef du Doit,

Pollard and Kitsoff.

Most of the others have or are playing in Europe or Japan.

looking forward to finally watching some rugby this weekend. The baby box won the 8 nations last year and were unbeaten against all European teams. It is a black coach and I'm really interested to see how he gets on this season. It is at home and so plenty to choose from and familiar conditions.

Hope it is a successful tournament.

I do believe that Test success comes from winning this tournament. If you look at the history and those teams that have won the World Cup. They won this tournament first. The identify a core group of players that develop together and can be moulded into a World Cup winning team.

Just look at the history, the all black dominate this competition and then went on to win 2 world cups and pretty much stayed the number 1 ranked team more most of the past 20 years.

England had a huge chance given that they won this comp twice in 3 years, but they have not been able to cement their place at the top, only very briefly. But they still have decent quality.

France is now also coming into form and the players that won them this tournament a while back are now front line players for France, Du Pont rings a bell?

If you sign up to World Rugby it’s apparently on You tube, but you need a Google account to sign up. Another Rugby cock up. The finals are apparently going to be streamed on NBC.

One wonders why it’s always so hard to get the Rugby in the age of streaming.

Saffex, World Rugby is going to stream it on YouTube. So you should be able to watch it live tomorrow or catch the games afterwards.

Some huge U20s this Argie team and they wiped the floor of a that ITALY U20 who didn't do badly in 6 nations.

Fly-half for the future too, dropped from halfway

England vs Ireland was a decent enough game. I think a draw was a fair result.

Our group still wide open, any of the four teams can win it.

Ireland should win their group with just Fiji left to play, though England could sneak it.

France are on another planet.Had a look at their scores in the six nations and they were phenomenal. Will take a special team effort to beat this lot.

France and Ireland in the final this Friday, two very well drilled teams.

The irish have been doing especially well in the 3rd quarter of their games, watched them against the aussie and boks game.

The French survived a scare, we're 17 down early on against England but came back. Cracker on Friday.

Well done to the Irish and French

What a shambles the baby boks are in. They absolutely had no clue what they were doing.

France have dominated this comp for a number of years now and will continue to. There seems to be a good synergy between club and country.

In the past the French clubs use to ditch French international players but are now investing more into the youths teams.

La Rochelle, was the first to stock up on u21 stars and it has now shown given that they are European champions.

I can't see a single teenage sensation in any of these bok players.

The look great on school highlight reels, but then again, these are school boys.

Also not the size of the French players, they definitely have more south sea Islanders and their players are more physically developed than most teams.

Some players are just genetic freaks and it really helps them in junior comps given that they are far more adult.

Just remember Os du Rand, he was 20 when he played for the boks, as a prop and he already looked like he was 35.

Duanne Vermeulen is another physical specimen.

Then, don't forget Frans Steyn. I'm just asking where the next junior boks are going to come from if our players are so inferior

Baby Boks are the worst I have seen Only players to stand out are last years school leavers JF v Heerden at lock and Julius on the wing Julius is a 13 who was completely wasted on the wing - evidences how clueless the coach is. That great break by Julius against Ireland showed what he is about - strength and great feet It was insulating that Bruce Sherwood the SA Schools 12 did not make the squad - again evidence of a clueless coach JF v Heerden was a lone tower in the pack, has one hell of an engine on him and the frame to fill out and be a monster at 2.02m and 117kg currently Hooker had his moments but not big enough - good impact player 8, 12 and 15 looked ok. It ends there The coach is clearly clueless and out of his depth

I can't believe they kept picking those wee wingers, they had no impact. They nowhere near a Kolbe or Arendse.

Absolutely shambles of an under 20 team. I think one of the provincial teams would beat this baby bok team hands down

The Junior boks picked two props in place of a designated hooker. The line-outs were a shambles, got it right in the first half against Ireland but in U20 rugby esp. it's a game of two halves.

We are so proud of the Irish team yesterday.  After such a tragic week for them, they really showed their mettle.  It was a performance full of errors but they kept their composure and turned it around in the second half.  I was pleasantly surprised that the Irish pack was heavier and dominant in the scrum.  We always expect the SA teams to have an advantage in this area.

I can't remember which former English rugby player recently commented when he was over watching his child play against an Irish schools team about how connected the approach and  training is between the schools, provinces and Irish team.  All rugby in Ireland is geared towards supporting the Irish senior team.  The IRFU and their development officers deserve huge praise.

We really have to improve our errors to beat the French and play our of our skin .  They are very impressive and we were lucky to beat them in the 6 nations.

Sorry about that accident. I think there should be a space and limit of paragliders in the air over Sea Point. Sometimes they land right after each other on that narrow grass strip.

Yes you beat the Frenchies in the Six Nations and they seek revenge. Your best chance is that 3rd quarter yet extended until full time. They chew teams up in the last 20 min.

Time will tell. It is highly likely though that all the efforts to play rugby beyond requirements finally weigh in more than anything.

The FR players failed to pace themselves during the event, contrary to the IR players who went into the semi finals to manage it.

What made it even more frustrating is that we can’t blame quotas

The pack was white bar tte 7

Remains the quota coach.

Guy may have selected his squad more to the agreement to SA rugby supporters.

Problem: as he removed quota players,he is now in first position as a target to blame and deflect.

SA rugby have been trailing behind for years by now and quota people are used to cover an inconvenient situation.

I’m struggling to understand why this French side has done so well I was expecting to see something special Their loosehead is strong, they have physical loosies and a fat prop in Tuilagi at lock 9 looks handy It’s probably more of a reflection of how average all the other sides are this year I was expecting to be wowed by this French side but….
