Great video Quacky. I haven't followed the Curry Cup & my only info is what is said on this forum so I didn't know the Cheetahs were playing so well. A reward for their long suffering fans.

The Cheetas were good yesterday. It was fast tempo stuff. Everyone was looking to offload- or if they did go to ground they rolled around and placed the ball.
Support runners were always beating the Lions to the breakdown. When a player never had a support runner he slowed down or ran at an angle to let them catch up. (as opposed to taking contact and getting isolated. Their was waves of attack that adjusted their running angles.

It was almost like they worked as a single individual, and not 15 players. They always knew when and where to help their teammates...

Nice video, quack. Keep them coming.
I think your Cheetahs are going to smash the Bulls in the final. They're playing fantastic rugby.
To think so many of the posters here don't bother watching the Currie Cup and ridicule it as a competition! Man they have missed some good rugby this year!

So far I'm really enjoying the Currie Cup, strangelly the NZ competition hasn't even grabbed my attention
Let's cross fingers and hope you're right, hope that the Cheetahs will be calm and at their best against the Bulls. The kind of team that you definitely shouldn't be caught napping...

It's funny, I actually have no idea! xD
I'm currently in Europe, so I'm not much help to you... I just download the matches whenever they're available!

It was painful the first time round ... but now that I've come to terms with the hiding I enjoyed watching the rout.
It's been awhile since you last contested the final.
I feel sorry for the Buls ... not!!!

Yeah, the Bulls already had their moments of glory in the past...now it's Cheetahs' time!
And don't worry, the Lions will comeback in full sthrengh for Super Rugby

Nice work Quacky! And as a rocker, I love your soundtracks!
How is it when the Boks are so thin at 11 and 14 that Pietersen has not even had a look in yet? He oozes X factor AND he'll help with the transformation numbers. Hougard is fine for the bench where he can cover wing and scrummy, but this kid should get a shot! If he and Combrink are in the side the potential for a moment of magic will be ever present.

I liked this kid from the outset. There seemed to be some question about his pace in the Super competition, odd because he was a sprinter as a kid. He looked pretty quick on that video.

Maybe an inspiration or a shot in the dark recesses of SA gloom....that Franco and Johan can combined their tutoring talents and rebirth our structure of rugby....there is so much birth of talent that is wasted...casting pearls before swein...a good rugby administrator and a strong appointment of rugby knowledge can solve this uncomfortable situation. Nothing wrong with the individuals ...its just our weak impeded mindsets...SA are just as athletic and strong as NZ, Fr, Arg, Oz and all the rest.
I'm encouraged by the Cheetahs...reviving the lapse....the Lions are still the best side marginally but were tired and not in full force add the rejuvinated and successful Currie Cup run by the hard working Cheetahs...SA rugby can be fixed if they give the two's up to the administration and let rugby take it's natural course.

South Africa has potential to compete with NZ for the 1# spot, the sheer amount and volume of talent is insane! But like you said, the administration is a mess, and not even with good players we can win, because even a great car needs a great driver, and we don't have one at the moment.
My original idea would be to make a team fusion, it would be fun if the Springboks would be half-Cheetahs and half-Lions...with a few Stormers/Bulls/Sharks sprinkles here and there to cover the cracks! What do you think? Kinda crazy, but it would revolutionize SA rugby for sure.

Keep HouGat as far away from the Bok set up as possible. He's not a scrummie and he's not a wing ... not at test level any way.
According to Moffie we don't have any talent in the country. According to Moffie, we should bring the tired and the elderly back. They're the way forward to the coming WC ... didn't you know that?
I see he suddenly has nice things to say about Sergeal Petersen. It won't be long and he'll be singing Venter's praises as well.
The poor dear doesn't know his arse from his elbow.
Yes ... we have talent to burn. Meyer missed out big time and Coetzee's following his footsteps.
Think of the fun one would have putting a Bok squad together. When last have we had such talent available?
If only someone would open their eyes and see it. It's right in front of us all.
Drives me insane.
