IMO it wasnt fatigue from the reasons u stated, but more fatigue with the stormers unable to find any answers against the sharks.
sharks had plenty of Bok players too, and they looked like they were ready to play another 80mins.
having a decent enough lead like the sharks did meant the sharks were in a unique position to savour and enjoy the moment, while the stormers were digging deep mustering every last bit of energy just to keep in touch.
wellington vs canterbury saw the exact same thing happen, with the wellington boys looking tired with their inability to cope with the canterbury pressure.
in saying that, i do think its a mistake to play the Boks top players in the CC, but not diminishing the CC is very important in SA and the clubs bottom line is not the Bok friendly.

where is Beeno? Did the Jake White coached Sharks just wipe his precious Stormers with the old Burger off the map?

I can see my mosyt invalualble opinion is being sought by the lost.Oaks I have t osay i was plensantly surprised in some respects. I thoughtthsi loightweight WP pack would have been taken to the cleaners. They were edged in the phyical stakes but not as badly as I thought they might be. All in all if Allistair had started with Malherbe and Rhodes at 7 we would no doubt have won the match. Trouble iou Aliisatir has probably elant nothing ashe is a dumb coach.I respect jake as a fine coach who had no troublein schooling sir John and sir graham those two notab;le boneheads who heads jake banged together.Talk about Etzebeth having a pood game are really very stupid. He was man of the amtch but for the fact he was in the loosing side. I think player fatigue may have got to Jean and Vermuelen but really it was mostly a loss simply because of wee allistair picking a wee pack and two wee oaks in the backline. He may even of got away with the wee backs had he put in the right pack. Too many unforced errors. We need Dr Venter as our coach or some real coach. But again dont expect any changes.

I somehow dont think Etzebeth had a game that he would want to forget, he was good - it was not standout as most of his games, but he was good

Players sitting on the bench in a big game get all wrought up ou maaaikie and then do something silly. Rhodes would have been 10 times better staerting than the lighweight and ineffectual kolisi.
It was really funny to see bissie doing an ab drama queen stint. I am now convinced we are being badly influenced by the nz approach to the game!

WP should have had a pack of:
1. Kitshoff 120kg 2. Fourie 100kg 3. Malherbe 122kg 4. Etzebeth 125kg 5. Ruan Botha 118kg 6. Kolisi 102kg 7. Rhodes 115kg 8. Vermeulen 116kg
They should also have played Jean at 12 and moved the quicker de Allende to 13. One thing Jean is not and that is an outside centre

Hehehe ....that's a little harsh Hakwa! It looks more like a Team NZ crew member after the final race in the Americas Cup.
