Okay….Aplon looked better when Dud was on the park. Actually Aplon was a terrific player. Dave I recall punting Aplon when you were punting Louis Ludick.
Dave stop telling us what other people think of him and point us to specific things he does in a game that makes him so great. Let's start with this Saturday. Watch the game and then come tell us specifically what he did well, where he influenced the game instead of just coming up with the same old vague "he had a solid game" platitude that his four fans on this board always dish up.

When anybody saiy that De Allende was and is a better player at 12 - the site experts - with prejudice being the norm - thinks otherwise. After the 2014 test against Wales in 2014 during which De Villiers were injured - he played in two tests in 2015 - namely the home tests against Argentina and Japan in 2015 and both wer lost by the Springbks. Aplon was involved in the Sprimgbk team in tha period - whn De V illiers was in serious decline and that accordingly was dealt with by Aplon.

2023 Once again….nothing. Except he provides an honor guard to Mo’unga who makes a 4o meter break and hands off for a try that is reversed.
A long history of nothing. Not a secure tackler in space, no read of the game, beats tackles but hardly ever makes a break, desperately low on tries and try assists.
To compare this mediocre player with Jean is a joke.

Mostert is a terrific player and I like the looks of Nortje as his replacement. He looks confident and assertive.
I stll prefer Schickerling as a better player than Mostert. .
