This kid plays it hard and makes an impression with ball in hand......at 2m and 117kg, he is a big one and the sooner we see him partnering Eben for the Boks, the better
Starring at under 21 level is great but lets first see how he goes against a super 15 team - It is a step up. He may need a year or two.

How do you see Etzebeth, Quin Roux, Elstadt , Du Toit, Willemse etc all fitting into the Bok picture in future. Of all these young locks two could make great number 7s - Elstadt and Du Toit.

Our depth at lock is good. We have experienced players like Flip, Bekker and Jeandre Kruger and then a line of youngsters with Etzebeth and du Toit as a the standouts.
Close behind these two are Elstadt, Quinn Roux, Willemse, Ruan Botha, Bresler, JA Marais, E. Oosthuizen, Roodt and Bulbring..........there is also young Jacques du Plessis, last years SA Schools sensation from the Pumas who should have been in the Baby Bok squad. Surprise, surprise........the Bulls have signed him. JA Marais younger brother Peet Marais is another good prospect

Wrters cramp and a very healthy bank balance. Problem is - they sign these youngsters up and don't use them properly. They destroyed Sadie's image and never played Serfontein - instead they used Meisiekind. I am sick and tired of watching how talent is being destroyed because of the Bulls mechnications.
