Breaking tackles, offloading, giving his side go forward by breaking or riding the first tackle and offloading to a runner. Also very nearly put Oz away for a clinching try with a pinpoint offload in the tackle, only stopped by Willemse's superbly bold defensive play. A far cry from what we have to rave about at 12 - one guy running head down into contact again, again and again.

Edit with finalized stats on ESPN this morning. Mostly a few offloads had been reassessed as passes.

The quota policy has killed SA rugby. They lost this game, one more again to add to their tally.

Another simplistic evaluation and not dealing with the reason for the loss by the Springboks anyway,

The reason for the post is to highlight Kerevi's performance, not to deal with the reason for the Springboks loss.

On three occasions Damian was dragged back 3+ metres by Kerevi. The Boks midfield was hammered. We caved in for massive chunk yardage. By contrast our carries looked laboured and sloppy. We got lucky to be in the game by the final 30 minutes as they cracked us wide open often. The myth of Dumbian was put to rest in 2015, it is only South African idiocy that keeps peddling it forward year after year. If Damian wasn't going to be called out for losing the 2015 Wallaby test all on his own, when would he ever be called out. The plastiks and the media protect the karp. They either like you or they don't. If you are good but unliked, you'll have a hard career ahead of you. The most successful Springbok of all time is still criticised by the plastiks and was always under appreciated.
