You are a level-headed guy - but as much as we would like to see that Etzebeth remains on the straight and narrow - the same applies to Retallick. He really is a more dangerous case than Etzebeth - being a very average player trying to impress - he already is using spear tackles as a norm. Did he learn that from Thorne?

As soon as I start reading apologies for the libelous drivel directed at crusaders players who were falsly( show me damning footage if you dare) attributed to an alleged/ unfounded/unproven eye gouging incident by saders players against some soft kok bull fatties, i might consider recanting my recent post. But even when the allegations have this far remained unfounded there is still a vocal group of wet panties fanboys who treat the sorelosing whinging by a mediocre player as gospel and are quite happy to believe the myth that kiwis are recidivist eye gougers like you Staffa chops. You bloody sot - what I wrote about that incidenr was clear as daylight. There were injuries around the eye that could only have come from eye gouching attempts in the game you now has hysterics about. That was disposed of because there was no clearcut video material that could prove who did it - simpleton. I said so - and no kiwi player was found guilty - only because they could not identify who did it - nothing else.
You went on the rampage because of an allegation - where the player involved did not lofge a complaint and there was no evidene of any real attemnpt at eye-gouching - so you really did your ordinary - crazy allegations and generalizations about rubbish - what a delinquent idiot you are.. You are in fact a disgrace and the really good New Zealand posters on the site would be ashamed of the drivel you dish out.

These eye gourging saga's are becoming an obsession...going back to old days I cannot recall so much ado about this...then Burger saga and Snor's remarks...Bakkies...the Rougerie incident in the WC final etc.etc and now this...is it deliberate...there is an element of doubt...could it be the eye getting in the way of the finger or the finger getting in the way of the eye ? I would like to believe that such foul and ghoulish tactics are never even contemplated by men choosen to represent this wonderful game at the highest level...I believe they are genuine accidents. They spark off such immature remarks as WP thugs!
I do not believe Etzebeth is guilty of this and is well vindicated.

Good wake up call for the lad anyhow, now he knows just how easy it is to get in trouble, to watch his p's and q's and make sure the only thing he is hitting is the rucks. Very good timing this incident actually. I'm sure he learned some (if he's capable of learning said lessons of course).
