Etzebeth for me, big, mobile lump of a lock, bordering on best in world who gets around the paddock almost like a loose forward and does a ton of the hard graft.  One of 2 Bok players that I would like to see in an AB jersey or in a team that plays a more attacking style which the Boks played close to.

It used to be Brycy's mother but men kept doing a runner after dumping a load. The old slut just wasn't worth the $7 she was charging. Way too ugly and obese. For those reasons, she could not be called a hooker as she was not receiving payment. She ends up a slut!

Please - this was meant to be a rugby discussion - I know Brycy is a special case where funny comments reign supreme or at least he thinks they are funny  - but lets get back and keep this to rugby.

In the meantime one thread I looked at - the one about Jake White - turned out to be so vicious I was disgusted by it.   This is not a site which is to be used as a malicious forum for hatred expression and the NZ members were disgusting and disparaging every decent South African - extremely bad form on the part of most of them.

Be it as it may - lets return to the rugby issue involved here.   Yes - the best and most popular Springboks are indeed Etzebeth - by far the best lock in the world - and Habana - the scourge of New Zealand when it comes to rugby - the best wing in the world.   The most respected player is De Villiers - the best captain in the world - a decent and honest person and player.

Well its difficult to find a spot for any kiwi in the pack perhas Whitelock but only because Du Toit was not ready and B ekker unavailable. Then in the backs Fourie, Jean Habana and Willie walk the side. So very few kiwis would make the Bok side.

What makes you think ANY AB would want to make the Bok side? They only play with winners!

What is wrong with you - got out of bed in a bad temper?  What was wrong in what I said above?

I had to get the comments about the White thread over with - the comments reflecting badly on all South Africans by some of the NZ members and it  disgusted me.

What is wrong about what I said about Etzebeth, Habana and De Villiers?

Look - I know for some reason or another you started making nasty remarks about me - and I hope we can change for the better on both sides.   Lets get this over with and start respecting each others viewpoints, even in cases where we differ.

Rate Willie Le Roux but I am biased as I quite enjoy the Cheetahs style of play.

I rate Etzebeth and Bismarck (if only he could control his aggression).

I agree that JDV sets a good example as a sportsman. He is a credit to the game.  Wee Willie Le Roux is exciting but would never make the ABs. Not sure Habana would either.

vermeulen, one of the toughest bastards out there.

in the All Blacks test when he was jumping in a lineout, his lifters buggered up and vermeulen fell from 5ft in the air (rough guestimation from watching on tv with beer goggles, ) straight on his back and head, with a loud thud.
he got back up though and continued to play like a chuck norris.

he also gets through a ton of work around the filed, he is like nearly all of the Bok loosies to slow for the Bok loosie position, but unlike the other dead weights laberts and louw, he more then makes up for it elsewhere.

@polyboy,
i agree with what u said about lady elizabeth, but i wouldnt want to see hi in an ABs jersey cos our depth with the locks is the best in the world.

retallick, whitelock and lady elizabeth would have to be three of the the top 5 locks in the world.
Boks also have untested du toit to come through the ranks, while we have steven luatua, and luke romano who are already prvoen at test rugby, and are freaking awesome.
theres also the likes of big dominic bird who IMO is going to make a big impact for the All Blacks, but like du toit hes untested at test level.

Sasue

One of the responsibilities of a lock is line-out ball recovery - a real weakness in the case of Retallick.  He is a lock with a serious deficiency in the relevant regard and cannot be rated in the same category as Etzebeth and Whitelock.

Insofar as Etzebeth is concerned he is streets ahead of your best lock -  Whitelock.   Neither of the other locks mentioned by you would ever be considered for Springbok selection.
