Meanwhile, in Cape Town, Beans getting his panties in a knot!
Don't worry Beans, the Stormers are probably going to lose no matter who the referee is.

I don't think NZ referees are bad but like all nations they have had their duds. SA has probably had the best referee ever, Andre Watson, at least he can fight it out with another that is Welsh referee Derek Bevan...other good ones were Kerry Fitzgerald (Austr) Jim Flemming (Sco ) Jonathan Kaplan (SA) and Ed Morrison (Eng) or Alain Rolland (Ire).

People rave about Nigel Owens but he is an attention seeker and can be entertaining but loves the limelight...he amuses some but irks most players and does make the mistake of trying to rule the game too much.

I still like Craig Joubert (despite 3 major bad calls in WC rugby) because despite what most people don't know he is a very genuine man and their is no deceit and hidden agendas in his make up...he is an old boy of my school and I've spoken to a lot of people who have known him for a long time...he is a good man and extremely humble...he admits quite openly that he has made mistakes but no referee in history has not.

Refereeing rugby is one of the most difficult jobs and there is no doubt of most referees integrity...mistakes are just part of the game like any other...afterall it's not the end of the world, just a simple game that's all...enjoy rugby but don't make it your god as soccer players do and you can enjoy it far more...sport is what it means sport.

Craig Joubert was awful. Often favoured the home side. Wasn't he the twit who crooked Scotland out at the last World Cup in a game agai nst OZ?

Andre Watson spent his time warning McCheat but never sending him off. Neither had much backbone. Seems they pulled the wool over ou Sebolobsky's eyes.

Well he was roasted for the Scotland debacle and rightly so. Ou mcCheat got away with murder and Andre was his chef accomplice.

Trust B eeno the one who knows!

Well, I'm neither a Joubert or Watson fan. Reffing in general is much poorer than it should be. Too many obvious mistakes. Rugby is supposed to be a professional sport.
