Kiwis, how many more Barrets?

Do you guys have a conveyer belt of Barrets?

I knew about Jordie - I have a NZ friend who reckons Jordie is going to be better than Beauden - but I didn't know there was a Scott and a Kane as well!

What position do Scott and Kane play and what's the age hierarchy?

Scott, Crusaders lock 22

Kane, Blues flanker & lock 26

Jordy Canes fullback  19

what I know is that Kane played for the Blues as flanker,.... I think he's the older

Scott is currently playing for Canterbury and the Crusaders, he's a lock and can play blindside also,..... he's starting for Canterbury and last 2 years he's been rotating with Sam Whitelock and Romano for the saders

and Jordie is the youngest,.... he's now playing for Canterbury as FB (but has signed with the canes for SR) and can play 12 and 13 also (with the New Zealand U20 team),..... better than Beauden? that's too much to say, Beauden is IMO the best rugby player in the world at this moment,....
but he's pointing very good manners,..... he's only 19 but he does everything well,.... aerial game (last game against Manawatu he was constantly bombed and he answered perfectly), defending skills and positioning, counterattack,..... he does everything well and has a good rugby brain and vision which makes him look more experienced than he's,..... but better than Beauden? doesn't have his acceleration and speed (Jordie is taller, around 1.96 and 96 kg),...... but a very good prospect, no doubt

Between the New Zealand Whitelock and Barrett families and the South African Du Preez and Du Plessis (x2) families you could probably put together a decent starting XV and a bench!

And talking of brothers . . .

If half-brothers count then I can give you a test match where not only did 2 brothers score tries but they had a 3rd brother on the field as well as their cousin who scored a further two tries!

Edit: One of the try-scoring brothers and the try-scoring cousin also got 4 conversions and a penalty kick between them.

Brothers Jacky and Boy Morkel scored tries, Jacky kicked 2 conversions, brother Gerhard Morkel was at fullback and cousin Dougie Morkel scored 2 tries, 2 conversions and a penalty.

PS: In 1914 there were 22 Morkel brothers and cousins playing rugby in South Africa and there were plans for a team of Morkels to travel to England to play a match but it was cancelled due to the 1st World War.

War stuffing up lives and rugby yet again it seems . Just my family living in my hometown had its own mens and ladies touch rugby teams ,8 ball teams ,softball ,tug-of-war ,speed shovelling and ladies netball team.3 of my cousins and I competed in in team shearing events with the odd sash here and there.The family that plays sport  together stays together eh ?
