Kiwis....

I need your help. Years ago on the now defunct SARU Rugby forum we had the pleasure of a poster nicked BBK(BigBadKev), a Kiwi(sadly) who fanatically followed the the ABs and the Auckland Blues(sigh). He's familiar to a fair few on this forum,mozart, Blobbie, Beans, Saffex just to name a few, some of us enjoyed him more than others, personally I thought of him as a larger than life poster and for that reason I excused his misdirected fanatiscm towards the abovementioned teams.

 

It's noticeable that our numbers of Kiwi posters have increased(yes we all have a cross to bear..sigh) so in your travels if you spot someone who resembles the very brief description I've given of Kevin, please direct him in this most desirable direction. 

 

We know very little of Kev, but he defnitelly lived in Auckland, was attached to the military( suspect he was employed there), I also suspect there is a base in Auckland where he is posted, he mentioned Irish and military in one sentence, not sure of the connection myself.

 

As a poster the one most noticeable thing about Kev is that he is loud.... you'll certainly know that he is around.

 

 

Tx if you can help. I liked Kev, unfortunatelly I've lost he's addy but from time to time as our Kiwi numbers swell I'll continue to put out a notice...... "WANTED BBK".

Denny: I have never heard of him but I have only be posting on boards since the build-up to the 2011 RWC and our subsequent victory. I can't remember such a poster on AB.Com but Cloudy, Wardad, etc.  were more long term posters.
One SA poster that disappeared went by the nick Rosemary. Have any of you heard of her. She lived in Johannesburg. She was knowledgeable about rugby & liked to give us AB supporters a hard time - other than that she was fine, lol Wrote a book on Rugby.

 No JW, I've never heard of anyone called Rosemary, as far as I can remember we've never had of a poster with that same nic.

 Rosemary was also a Stormers supporter IIRC. Beeno will remember her from his stint on the AB site.
Denny,  maybe poi-e (Paprakapride) can remember and know Kev ( "Hello bokke, note  the lower case" Kev) Ja, I remember him well. Would like to see him here.

 Big bad kevin was hilarious. He laways used to speak of how the wee abs owned the Bokke etc. If the Blues ever won he was chest beating like few can. If they lost he disappeared for aweek or two.Very funny poster indeed.
Draad I cant recall really anything about a Rosemary. I do recall whilst on the kiwi website having to correct warped dud a number of times and meeting the charming Cloudy there.

 Denny: there is info on a bigbadkev on the internet including an email address. Too much info on the internet if you ask me  Anyway you may wish to do an internet search and contact him if you want as you know him - could be seen as an invasion of privacy. That's how my generation would see it, it's up to you.

Just win bro...Rosemary's book is called "The Rugby fan"Google it...her name is on the cover...I believe she's on twitter..if your into that...nice lady...unless you talked smack about Steven Donald or Luke Watson....hahahaha

Back in the old days there was a lady called LeslieV on our Supersport Board. As sharp as they come.....anybody remember or know of the ascerbic Leslie?  

Yeah; no doubt about that Cloudy, she had a few of u s males be-witched so to speak, lol  

I think we know that but th is awareness doesn't help
