Let me explain Montpellier recently had a bad run losing three matches in a row.   La Rochelle  on the other hand had a dream run and is now top of the log in the Top 14 series.

However, there is something the two teams have in common 0 they both has SAFFAS as outside centers,    Montpellier has Frans Steyn (a player constantly punted by some on the site as  Springbok center) - La Rochelle has Paul Jordaan.   So these two players faced each other in the game today,

Jordaan was brilliant and totally played the fool with Steyn.   He ran past Steyn like was unbelievable and in the process scored a try as well.   Steyn's defense was shockingly poor - 1 turnover conceded, 2 tackles made and 5 tackles missed.

Fransie - whether Fat or not - is still useless as a player and it is a tragedy that a player who showed so much as a junior went bad early as well.

Yet he dominated Fransie today - badly so. He missed ONE tackle one tackle on Fruen years ago and today Fransuie missed three on him. In the defensive game he dominated Steyn as well. In the year Jordaan missed 4 tackles out of 62 attempts Fransie turned out to be the worst defensive center in Super Rugby beating even useless De Jongh. Please don't-remind me of all the defensive flops of Fransie through the years.

But here’s the problem Tok: F SteynC 3 4 11 35 1 2 3 0 P JordaanC 3 5 10 33 0 0 1 0 That’s right Tokkie, Frans made a clean break, beat 2 tackles and offloaded 3 times. Little Paul made no clean breaks, beat no tackles and offlloaded once. So I guess your statement that Jordaan ran past Steyn is just another fable given he beat zero tackles. When will you stop fibbing one wonders.

Sure Fransie made 2 tackles - missing 4. What kind of missed tackle ratio is that - I think something like 66,6%. And Jordan scored a try and ran circles around Fransie - making him miss three of the tackles. Mozart - Jordaan missed that day one tackle on Fruean - you manufactured a second missed tackle. Stop fibbing. I watched the game and Jordaan was by some distance and far better then the pace-deficient Fransie, He also scored a try, Problem is Jordaan is a thinking player - Fransie a serious dud.

No Tokkie Jordaan didn’t make Frans miss a tackle....if that was the case Jordaan would have been shown beating a tackle.....he beat no tackles according the Statsguru. You saw Frans missed some tackles and that he was playing against Tiny Jordaan....and just made the claim, because it suited your purposes. Sadly it was just another lie.

Di you rate the serial loser who were horribly poor I his last three matches for Montpellier? Problem is that Steyn's defense was extremely poor and he was too slow to get to Jordaan. Fact is on the day Jordaan comprehensively outplayed Steyn whether you like it or not.
