I continue to believe he is a more natural fullback. But his game at 10 today was superb. He brings down the big boys on the charge first time....every time. His kicking was crisp and how smartly he regathered for that try, not snatching at the ball.....playing it over the line with knees and boots. We have a gem here.

I also continue to admire Keegan Daniel.....he does countless good things in a game. And despite being a smaller player he puts in a big hit. He separated Adam Thompson from the ball when a try looked possible. I'm not sure he could impose himself in tests.....but he has that pace and a quick mind. It's worth a shot....the lad is a trier like Hougaard.

I remain unimpressed with Mvovo....he has pace, but no rugby nous. That overlap Highlanders try needed a sharp run up onto the inside player to try for the smother tackle....he just drifted.  Strauss showed the way in the Cheetahs game, destroying a 3 on 2 overlap by shooting up and making a ball and all tackle.

Then Mvovo gets through and throws a horrible pass to an open man. Finally he doesn't close Ben Smith who sails round him.

Unfortunately Smith also burned young Paul Jordaan....Sapp's latest Bok 13. Went right round him wih ease. This lad has a lot to learn.....I'm not sure what the excitement is.

In the tight stuff you have to say the Sharks front row booked their Bok places. Jannie was solid. The Beast was huge....Bobby called for left shoulder and the Beast delivered. And Bismarck was superman  again. Spies may look like the man of steel....Bismarck is the man of steel.

Mozart - you are 100% correct insofar as Lambie is concerned - the guy has got ball sense and is great on attack and defence.   I think that we are fortunate to have two youngsters like him and Goosen.    I would pick Lambie as no 10 whilst Goosen is not available as a result of injury.   Am personally confortable with him as full back when Goosen is back.

Took a goofd hard look at Jordaan.   He was not consistent.   Smith went round him once - but he also put in some good tackles.    He made a line break at speed and past the ball in a very dangerous move that nearly let to a Sharks try.    By the way I think in his one game at 13 - he did more positive things than Pietersen did in all his games in that position - will be crucified for saying that though.   I beleive there are some positives though.

Jordaan looked decent enough most of the game Mike, I agree. Being beaten through the outside gap is something I hate to see though. Being stepped can happen to anybody....but to not have the timing and pace to guard your outside channel?  Concerning.

But I have read Sapp's comments time and again about Whitehead and now about this kid. They look like they could be okay S15 players.....but test centres? I doubt it. This is Barrett and Murray all over again for Dave and he still hasn't let go of those two.

Frankly I think de Jongh and Ebersohn consistently produce more....but in Dave's scale based judgement, they just can't be better.

Lambie was superb and showed again that he has the head to play top rugby. He seldom makes mistakes.

Was grtat to see sharks playing with some passion at last. Beast did well and one hopes he really gathers steam. No loafing beast !

I always felt that when the sharks got some of their players back their luck would change. Means we have 4 of the top eight sides given the Cheetahs  win, Cheethas deserved a break for sure. Their loose trio concerns me though. I would play deysel at 7 and coetzze at 8. What ahas happened to Alberts!!!!!!!!

It looks clear that JP offers more value at 13. He is wasted on the wing. Jordans defence is no better really.JP creates things at 13 and Jordan on the wing could finish. Seems Dave and Beeno were correct after all.

Well done sharkies you are back! Bissie incidently was immense. Best hooker in the world by some way. Card must be muttering with that comment by Skinstadt that Bissie has effected17 turnovers so far this season and Lambie playing so outstandingly.!! Hehehehhehehe

Oh give it a bloody break for crying out loud - how bloody pathetic, you want to judge Jordaan on that performance when he got no ball and where the hell did I say he was the next Bok 13 - keep it real man, no need to lie.

Whitehead has been the best SA 12 by some distance, better than Jean without a doubt. Have never ever called for Barritt as a Bok centre - another lie.

Lambie can play anywhere, he is a better 10 than Morne.

Mvovo was good, Moz he is just another one of your anti's no matter what he does you dont like him.

Sharks frontrow was huge

Daniel would be my back-up 6 to Brussouw

Dave you start a string about Jordan.....in which you say: "this kid is pure class. Has the best swerve and step I have seen in ages." But now he isn't a pick to be Bok 13? You confuse me. Was all this hyperbole meant for a S15 only player.

Face it, it's easy to look good playing against school boys....a little harder against some quality NZ backs.

As for Mvovo...he is no better than Nokwe, with all the same faults Hell in a test I'd rather have Ndungane twins, who  at least have some rugby sense.

What is confusing about me saying he is a great talent and saying nothing about him being a Bok 13? Pretty simple really, I rate him highly but he has to prove he can do it at S15 level. I just had to laugh are your predictable negativity towards the lad based on a showing where he got the ball all of about once and he got beaten by being out of alignment.......for one certainty is that if you had actually seen him play before you would know that pace is not an issue with this kid and nor is defence for he never missed another tackle after that slip.

Give the kid a break for goodness sake, he is 19 and on debut - pretty solid one I thought.

Yeah of course you would select Ndungane as a test wing, much like you would have Jean at 13 and Morne at 10 - heaven help us if you were our coach, most would be collecting their pensions on the way to the field.

Your anti Mvovo is based on sweet stuff all. He had a good game, did all he could - no other wing would have done anything different in the circumstances.

I wouldn't have Ndungane.....I'd just rather have him than the faint hearted Mvovo. Just to be clear.
