I do think the Cheetahs tend to overlook Griquas players.

Leon is the type of Nr8 i like, much in the mould of a Big Joe.  Not that heavy very physical and has alot of pace.

He was a prosigious talent in the junior Squads. up to about 2007 i think, He got diagnosed with Statgartd Disease wich is a degenerative eye disease,the syndrome is caused by a group of inherited diseases that results in light-sensitive cells in the retina deteriorating, particularly where fine focusing occurs. Central vision loss occurs, while peripheral vision is usually retained.

He wheighs aroung 105 to 109 but has very good pace and tall enough for a nr 8 at around 1.91m.

However if you watch him play as with any player stats go out the door, the guys still has all that talent. And psychologically with him having faced that adversity and come back from it still playing. Why the cheetahs don't use him i don't know.
