I'm loathe to criticise a coach who keeps winning, and by all accounts HM is winning!

I know we all have opinions.
We are all the best coaches in our own minds.
We all know how to turn the Bokke in to an unbeatable outfit.
We all know how to make sure that we win every single RWC...

But, for what ever reason, someone else was chosen ahead of all of us.

Whilst I know we all may be grumpy, I still believe that HM, like Jake and Nick and Kitch, does have a plan and he will stick to the players he wants, who he thinks will fit in to his plan.

Much like Jake who stuck by John Smit and much like Kitch who stuck by Francois Pienaar (who was by no means the opensider in the country), Heyneke does have a strategy and a plan which he wants to execute. And in order to execute his plan best, he will pick players who he sees best to fulfill that strategy.

If we are all a great as we think we are, our turns will come.

 Ya chip
Cant argue there.
I was one that dissed matfields selection, but in hindsight i can understand what Meyer is looking for.

Years ago I wrote a similar article on the same situation regarding Jake White and John Smit.
The public were calling for Gary Botha and Schalk Britz, but JW wanted a dominating scrum... after all, good front foot ball starts at set phases.

I see HM taking a similar stance in what he wants... and he is sticking to it.

I dont agree with some of his patterns of play sometimes, but I don't think I'll be criticizing his selections... after all, he probably wouldnt agree with mine either.
