I saw that. Very disappointed if Kriel does not start ahead of Louw and Combrink ahead of Mvovo.
Good to hear PSDT is running well

My problem with that team is the slow-motion loosies and the fact that because of pace deficiency they are totally absent from ball protection and recovery - while th eir passing game is basically non-existent. Mvovo on the wing is a joke too. Mvovo is dead average and Combrinck is a much better wing option.

See ... I told you.
Your hoping for some sanity when it comes to team selections ... it's not going to happen, Mike.
8 of that possible starting 15 do not belong there. I'm sure there's at least another 4 or 5 on the bench that could be added to the list as well.

Lwazi Mvovo is nowhere near as bad as many people try to make out. Not saying he's better than Ruan Combrinck who I have always rated but in the context of quota selections, he's close enough in quality to Combrinck to warrant his inclusion.
If I was faced with the choices Allister Coetzee has to make then I would have picked Mvovo in place of the non-tackling showpony Willie le Roux and played one of Pietersen, Combrinck or Mvovo at fullback.

Movov is not a bad wing but Combrink is better.
Kolisi before Kriel is rediculous. I had hoped for a loose trio of Kriel, Whitely and Vermulen (7). We need to start playing intelligent attacking rugby as in days of old.

Louw is at least a hard working bruiser. Kolisi is a show pony who does didly squat and disappears in big games.
Wake up snapster your ignorance is showing!

Kolisi is twice the player Louw is.....been in great from for the Stormers unlike Louw who has been awol for Bath

Kolisi is as average as they come.
He doesn't deserve his spot in the squad and he knows it.
The only time he "shines" is when he plays against chumps. He disappears completely when pitted against any decent team.
A club player at best ... no more.

CC - I agree with you about Kolisi - his two ball carries against the Cheetahs were the only positives this normal Stormers bench player did this year. As a loosie the guy is club level - nothing more - the epitome of the BEE selection . In fact I prefer Notshe to him as a loosie.

Mvovo is another player I outed 5 years ago....only to be met with huge resistance. And now everybody is against him. Funny stuff. It was obvious this little guy doesn't have the bottle for test rugby.

Couldn't agree more on Mvovo Moz, we have better, "target players" included. Experience is a good thing, but sometimes XP shows where not to bother.
