The Lions believe some of their players are still under contract, when they will be playing in England.
Now that SA Rugby allows overseas players to represent the Boks, more players will be targeted- as they still have the option of playing for SA.

With the present climate of rugby in SA one feels almost grateful that we still have decent players who like to play for the Boks.
A guy like Marx could have gone to England and qualified to play for the Poms at 24.
That's exactly what I'd have done and what I'd suggest any decent player who wants a fair shake should do.
Not much demand for our quotas though.
They should just give the Bok to the black man and be done with it.
Let the white guys flood Europe and find citizenship elsewhere.
