it will be interesting to see if the Lions can secure at least one point. Any chance of winning the tournament rests with this.

Gamble didn't work out, congrats to the jags & the canes who finish top of the table.Lions should be rested for the game with the saders & the  saders are a bit banged up so we will see how the turns out .

That would have been the smart thing to do Beeno. It would have  minimized the gamble & kept some key starters fresh.

now the lions have drawn perhaps the hardest team to beat from New Zealand.
Historically the Crusaders have had a pack that is more than just fetchers- so they don't  crumble when things start to get physical.

Sharkbok; is should be a good game.
As you say saders have a good pack (& they have ball handling skills). Lions are on top of their game & playing really well as a team, plus they are playing at home. Saders have injuries & must be bruised having been through the Kiwi derby matches.
I would say odds are 60/40 in favor of the Lions.

It should be better odds than 50/50. Who's the ref. I see Reid trying to be a showman again. Good luck to him winning over the Ellis Park Faithfull!!....NOT!!!!
