Lions Tour wrap

I don't know if it is just me, but this tour was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe it was just over hyped? For me the thing that stood out most was mistakes. They almost defined the tour. Handling errors from both sides were what I remember most, not brilliant tries and stunning moments of rugby excellence. I suppose it could simply be down to two sides cancelling out one another's strengths, but even that doesn't explain the number of silly mistakes and handling errors. The games were good from an intensity point of view, because they were mostly close, but they were not good from a q uality point of view. 

The first 60 minutes was best....the rest a tense arm wrestle. But at least there was uncertainty.

 Totally agree. 
And indeed, the uncertainty, especially in the last 20 mins of the final test really had me on the edge of my seat. 
The RC should be good/decent this year though. 
So where are the ABs touring at the end of the year? Woodward may just have made a rod for his northern pal's backs.

I enjoyed the tour.
It was better than watching the S18 games.
Now looking forward to the RC.
