High energy half and Lions full value for their 24-9 lead.

Plum exactly what i was thinking. Watching a game against NZ with a down under ref has become a waste of time.

Continually amazed how Lions play a brand of rugby with so much more skill. Why cant the other SA Franchises up their game.

Great win by Lions they can be proud of their efforts! Probably have a good chance of beating Warts.

Marx outstanding and Elton very good.

...Bean Brain a very bent performance fr om the very bent yarpy ref according to all the forums i've read ...makes for a flattering scoreline favouring the Lions......just a taste of what's being written - the Aussies are very worried about Jaco by the sound of it...

Jim says...Some of the most one sided refereeing I’ve seen in years. Crooked throws, people not supporting their own body weight, no clear releases. Argies could not win a 50 50 in the whole 2nd half. Jaco must not ref another finals game. Please.

Plurker says ''You can feel how the ref is managing the result and that ruins any sense of enjoyment. Some will scoff and say we are sore losers. It's not about a loss, but how the game is left with question marks a over it. What if? You'll never known the game that would have been had the ref just done what he was paid to do. I can live with a loss in a fair game. Not like it, but live with it. '

Good to see Jantjies silencing his critics with a man of the match performance though . Egg sandwiches for those always saying he is a kak player

Hmmm first half was flawless for Jaco, right?

Which events in the second half are you referring to? I'll look out for them if I get a second watch. I did see at least one skew throw in.

Indeed, Jantjies had a nice game. Dyanti is the real deal. Looks like he has everything...aside from defensive positioning.

Lions scrum was beastly.

Brycy Jim and Plurker are clearly to plo nkers who have no clue whatsoever. Nice to see sound reffing again after the crusaders debacle.

Agreed on Jantjies, he was fantastic.  He looked very comfortable, and at ease. I just can't understand why he does carry this form to test level.
(Sure he was not good under Coetzee- for the Boks or at the Stormers, but why was he making basic errors for the Boks under Rassie).
He dictated the pattern of play today with an all-around game. He glided into attacking moves, setting up wave after wave of attack. His tactical kicking always placed pressure on the opposition.

Brycy you have to remember this jags side went down under and whipped all of you hapless oaks.

Show some respect to your betters.

Sharkbok Jantjes fits in with the Lions style of play and those playing around him.

Were Jantjies realy that good? Yes he kicked a few spectacular cross kicks, but he struggled with his passes. I just got the feeling that the  opposition started to read these kicks and against a stronger team this might be problematic. But I think the Lions do not have someone better.

The Lions front row was outstanding.

Rugby should be played like NZ like it or it's cheating.
