Got my ticket and counting the hours. Think it will be a very close game but hoping the Lions can do it.

I think we have the better pack but when it comes to brainfarts, Jantjies rules.

Tank Du Toit is a loosehead so what he's doing on the tighthead side is beyond me. He's up against van Rooyen so that should be a tough evening for him.

I would have pushed Mapoe to wing, Vorster to 13 and brought Rohan in from the bench to take up his spot at 12.

Not sure what the thinking was regarding our 9 & 10 cover? We don't have any ... so any injury there will throw us into complete disarray.

Harold Vorster needs to produce a his usual dominant display and I'm hoping that Mapoe can hold onto the ball a little longer and not drop it crossing the try line as is his usual does. Useless quota.

We have Kwagga and Warren in the mix and Cyle Brink is a quality player. The break down is going to be vital. Whoever wins that collision will take the match.

G o Lions!!!

De Bruin reckons Andries Coetzee is a good enough scrumhalf to cover the position.

Ok ... thanks. Must admit ... I've never seen him play there. Have you?

Well ... let's just hope it doesn't come to that.

Nice to get a win under the belt. I am a bit worried about the Lions lineouts but very happy about the scrum. I'd rather be stronger in the scrums because it also gives a psychological advantage.

Koos

The Lions played well - bar for the line-outs.   Do they still use Matfield as line out coach - he was good in that even though he preferred to play at center.

The Lions didn't play well at all.

They had way too many handling errors ... a very poor lineout display and Jantjies cracked under pressure ... again.

We dominated up front and should by rights have thrashed the Sharks by at least 15 points. The Shark were still in the match at the death ... why ... because we didn't have the killer instinct to put them away.

The Saders and Canes would have devoured us ... so ... no Mike, I don't rate that as a very good performance at all.
