Log Position today

With the loss by the Chiefs without gtting a bonus point the situation on top of the log is going to be interesting.

If the Sharks beat the Stormers tonight and get a bonus point - they will go to No 1 on the log and the Chiefs will slip down to 3 if my reading of the situation is correct. If they win without a bonus point - all three the teams will be on 29 points - which probably mean that the Brumbies remain on top - the Sharks in the seond position - having only lost one game - and the Chiefs will be on number 3.

The next game will also be interesting - we have a situation here that the Blues and Hurricanes are competing for play-off positions and the situation is tight.

That's right slim Maaik and the poor Stormetjies will be in the no- hopers boat. That's actually sad. Whatever happens tonight although I want my Sharkies there but will have mixed feelings...to lesser or greater degree.

We'll have to send poor old Beeno a condolence card...lol.
