Love how Prendergasp just kept drifting without even having a man to mark while pointing inside telling JGP "he's all yours, buddy" :)

Poor tackling technique though.

Sacha does have a knack creating defensive hesitation.

We've traditionally had very few guys like that. We have steppers a plenty but that's all engine. With Sacha, there's this instinctive genius that shines though and it's beyond simply being quick or having a step. It's some crazy understanding of space, movement and the defender's intent.

What's the term for that, is there one?

Where you run lines and change direction in ways that cause defenders to shift responsibility for tackling you onto someone else, then someone else, until eventually nobody makes a good tackle on you when there were actually a bunch of guys that could have.

He did it against France in that final try, and his try against the Irish was the same.

Willie used to do it, but purely to set up passes. Sacha just instinctively does it and is damn good and keeping the option of the pass in his pocket and using it to further his cause.

I'm probably not making much sense.

I don't think one can teach that stuff, or learn it. You can discuss it in principle, but that's only 20%. The other 80% is built in and you either have it or you don't.

Thank goodness he's on our side hahaha

The lad is such a talent -,he is going to bring us soooo much joy

Apart from his obvious all round talent - he is also deceptively strong - there have been a good few productive hand offs to date and boy is he quick

He also has the dog in him, much like Willemse - they want to be in the middle of the action, up in your face. Roos is another, as is Wessels. Great players have to have the dog in them

Some great athletes with talent are left short as they lack the dog - Pierre Spies and my mate JJ Engelbrecht are perfect examples
