London terror: 3 terrorists shot dead after killing 6 & injuring 48 in van & knife rampage

Three attackers then leapt out and started stabbing passers-by at random after the van had crashed, witnesses claimed.

Armed police shot and killed three suspects, within eight minutes of the original incident on the bridge.

The Met have confirmed the incidents are being treated as a terror attack. 

A witness, known also as Eric, claimed he saw a van driving on the wrong side of the road before three men jumped out and started running towards bars and restaurants, shouting “this is for Allah”.

He told BBC Radio 5Live: “The three people literally started kicking them, punching them, and took out knives. It was a rampage really.”

Express.co.uk heard from a witness that a white van had appeared to purposefully hit pedestrians on the bridge at 10.08pm. 

Mark Rowley, assistant commissioner for the Metropolitan police, said in statement: “You will understand that our knowledge of the incident is still growing but what we understand at the present time is.

“At 22:08hrs yesterday evening we began to receive reports that a vehicle had struck pedestrians on London Bridge.

“The suspects then left the vehicle and a number of people were stabbed, including an on-duty British Transport Police officer who was responding to the incident at London Bridge. He received serious but not life-threatening injuries. His family has been informed.

“Armed officers responded very quickly and bravely, confronting three male suspects who were shot and killed in Borough Market. 

“The suspects had been confronted and shot by the police within eight minutes of the first call. The suspects were wearing what looked like explosive vests but these were later established to be hoaxes.

“The ongoing operation is led by the Met, working closely with British Transport Police, City of London Police, the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade.

“At this stage, we believe that six people have died in addition to the three attackers shot dead by police. And at least 20 casualties have been taken to six hospitals across London.

“I'd like to repeat our request for the public to avoid the following areas: London Bridge and Borough Market. This is to allow emergency services to deal with this incident.”

Another serious incident occurred in Borough Market, where police confirmed shots had been fired.

CNN quoted a witness who said a waitress was stabbed in the throat while a man was stabbed in the back. 

One of the men suspected of being behind the deadly attack was shown in a photograph lying on the ground with canisters strapped to his body after he was shot by the police.

Police confirmed reported explosions around London Bridge just before 2am were controlled and monitored. 

A third incident in Vauxhall, South London, was later confirmed as not terror related.

Political partys have suspended national general election campaigning.

A Cobra meeting at Downing Street will hear experts' assessment of whether the UK's terror threat level should be returned to “critical” - meaning further attacks could be imminent.

Three Jihadi terrorists were shot dead by armed police after killing six people and injuring 48 others in a horrific van and knife rampage in central London last night.

The men, described as being 'of Mediterranean origin', mowed down up to 20 revellers as they careered across London Bridge in an 'S shape' at 50mph before they began 'randomly stabbing' people in nearby Borough Market.

Attackers used 12-inch hunting knives to attack revellers at busy bars and restaurants in the market, sending dozens of others fleeing for their lives. 

Witnesses said the gang, who were wearing hoax suicide vests, smashed pub windows and reportedly cut the throats of drinkers. A 'dark-skinned' man in a red tracksuit 'calmly' stabbed a man three times. Another victim was reportedly stabbed five times in the chest.

Armed police rushed to the scene and authorities urged panicked Londoners on Twitter to 'run, hide, tell' if they were caught in the 'utter chaos'.

The male suspects were shot and killed by armed police in Borough Market within eight minutes of the first call. A photo taken at the scene shows one of the suspects wearing an Arsenal football shirt. 

Today police remain at the scene and a 'full investigation' is underway. One witness reported seeing armed police storming an apartment complex in Barking, south London, this morning.

The tragedy comes just 12 days after the Manchester terror attack and 10 weeks after the Westminster atrocity. Britain's terror threat level remains at severe after it was raised to critical in the week after the Manchester attack.  

CNN host Reza Aslan, who recently ate human brain on national television, called President Trump an “embarrassment to humankind” for reiterating his call for a travel ban in the aftermath of the London terror attacks.

“We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights,” Trump tweeted. “We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!”

He later added: “Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!”

“This piece of shit is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency,” Aslan tweeted in response. “He’s an embarrassment to humankind.”

Aslan generated controversy earlier this year when he ate human brain with a cannibalistic sect of hinduism on his CNN show, “Believer.”

Aslan is a staunch critic of “Islamophobia.”

The security services were facing difficult questions last night over how at least one of the London Bridge terrorists slipped through the intelligence net.

It emerged that the 27-year-old Muslim extremist known to friends as 'Abz' appeared in a TV documentary last year about British jihadis – and was involved in a filmed altercation with police after an ISIS flag was unfurled in Regent's park, London.

He was caught on camera alongside two notorious preachers who were well known to police and intelligence officials because of their extremist views.

Amid a series of revelations last night, it was claimed that a friend of the Watford-born suspect had reported him to the anti-terror hotline after he became radicalised by watching extremist videos on YouTube.

It was also alleged that police were warned about the suspect radicalising children in a local park two years ago.

And yesterday, a photographer captured a detective carrying secret notes which appeared to suggest a man embroiled in the investigation had been quizzed by police last year.

The suspect, who the Mail has chosen not to name at the request of police, is understood to be one of three men who embarked on a stabbing rampage in London on Saturday night.

He was pictured, having been shot dead by police, lying on the ground in an Arsenal shirt.

The attackers, who were wearing fake suicide bomb vests, used a van to mow down pedestrians on London Bridge before running amok with knives in Borough Market, slitting the throats of innocent bystanders. One is reported to have yelled: ‘This is for Allah.’

They left at least seven dead and 48 injured before police marksmen halted their stabbing spree.

Last night, chilling footage showed two of the attackers sauntering through a deserted Borough Market just moments after they abandoned the white van they used in the attack.

Yesterday, Theresa May declared that ‘enough was enough’ as she announced a four-point plan of action following the third devastating terror attack in Britain in just three months.

But the Prime Minister insisted that Thursday’s general election would go ahead, despite terrorists trying to derail Britain’s democracy. On another day of extraordinary developments:

• Police revealed they had fired an ‘unprecedented’ 50 bullets to kill the three London Bridge terrorists because they believed the attackers were wearing suicide belts;

•  A member of the public was accidentally shot by police officers in the crossfire but is expected to make a full recovery;

• As details of the first victims emerged, the authorities said 36 people remained in hospital, with 21 in a critical condition;

• The Prime Minister said there had been ‘far too much tolerance’ of the ‘evil ideology’ of Islamist extremism;

• She also declared war on the internet giants for providing a ‘safe space’ for Islamist terrorists bent on attacking Britain;

• However, it soon emerged that terrorist propaganda and guides to carrying out terror attacks were still freely available online;

• Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn tried to make political capital out of the tragedy, accusing the Mrs May of denying resources to the police and security services;

• But he U-turned on his previous opposition to the police shoot-to-kill policy and backed the PM’s insistence that the general election must go ahead on Thursday;

• Amid enormous security, the One Love benefit concert got underway last night after a one-minute silence for the 22 victims who lost their lives in the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena two weeks ago.

To let an individual unfurl an ISIS flag in one of your national parks, and do nothing, is testament to how the authorities are letting this issue fester.... too scared to infringe on people's human rights.

Just like letting these Muslim's preach their own hate speech on the very corner of that UK street where they pray in their mosques, and milk the benefits system. 

Despicable.......

I say if anyone, at all, vocally speaks out against the UK, USA or any other country in support of ISIS...... then fly him or her and their entire family back to where they come from and let them try and reap the same rewards and benefits that they get from their host country  from their own home country.

I wouldn't even lock them up, as they will then still see the benefits of the tax payers money with a warm place to stay, 3 meals, play some pool, post on Facebook, watch sport on TV and continue to preach hate speech.

You search on how to make home made bombs, you are gone

You watch Islamic terrorist videos on YouTube, you are gone

You buy or create any material that supports ISIS, banners, flags.. you are gone

You preach any hate speech of any form against the UK, on the streets, you are gone

You don't adhere to our way of life and rules, you are gone

Top Polish minister Ryszard Czarnecki defended his country’s refusal of Muslim migrants to their country.

Czarnecki told reporters the absence of Muslim migrants means no terror attacks.
Radio Poland reported, via Religion of Peace:

The only way to protect Poland from terrorist attacks is by not allowing Islamic migrants into the country, Polish European Parliament deputy Ryszard Czarnecki has said.

His comments follow an attack in London on Saturday which killed ten, including three suspects, and injured at least 48 others.

Czarnecki, who hails from Poland’s conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, said terrorist attacks were often carried out by children of “Islamic migrants” – many of them citizens of European countries – who were trained by the so-called Islamic State.

“Other countries have led to a situation in which those trained on Islamic State territory in Syria, Iraq – young people with French, Belgian, Dutch, British, German citizenship – return to Europe … and somehow [the authorities] were incapable of monitoring them,” Czarnecki said.

“We, Poland, are learning from the mistakes of others … and we will not open our doors to Islamic migrants,” he added. 

Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Solvenia all say the same thing. Italy is going populist it seems and the populists have the largest party in Sweden. Everywhere populism/NATIONALISM is growing rapidly.

Senior Vice President for Policy and Programs Fred Fleitz of the Center for Security Policy joined SiriusXM host Joel Pollak on Monday’s Breitbart News Daily to talk about the London Bridge terror attack.

Pollak began by asking if the London Bridge attack would finally provide the wake-up call needed for those who underestimate or downplay the dangers of radical Islamic terrorism.

“A lot of people who were in denial almost say the right thing after these events. They sort of can’t help themselves,” Fleitz replied.

“But what really concerns me is that yes, it’s right we have to improve security – we need better outreach, we need better intelligence – but there’s something they’re not talking about in the U.K. that really needs to be focused on: the role that the failure to assimilate British Muslims has created the situation,” he said. “There are communities where British Muslims are deliberately not assimilating, are being taught to hate British society, and this is incubating radicalism. There’s actually a parallel system of sharia law courts in the U.K. that operate.”

“We may have generations of radical Islamists in the U.K., until the British government wakes up and stops the situation,” he warned.

Pollak pointed out that the United States has unassimilated religious communities with their own internal systems of government that live peaceably alongside their neighbors, such as the Amish and Jewish communities in upstate New York.

“It’s certainly true there are some communities in the United States that have not assimilated,” Fleitz agreed. “I’m not concerned about Amish or Jewish communities, but I will tell you that there are enclaves of Muslim communities in Michigan and Minnesota that concern me. We know that in Minnesota there’s a rising rate of measles because the community has not assimilated into the rest of the community, and is not vaccinating their children. This is wrong. This is a big problem.”

“The problem with these Muslim communities is that it is making them susceptible to this radical worldview that wants to destroy modern society, create a global caliphate, and impose sharia law on everyone on Earth,” Fleitz contended. “These other communities aren’t trying to do that. They’re peaceful religious communities.”

“Also, when we have immigrants coming to a country from another country, I think they need to learn the practices and laws of the country where they’re coming to, the country that is accepting them and serving as a refuge for them. I think when people come to their new home country, they should understand and learn about the laws of this new country. That’s not happening in the U.K.,” he said.

Pollak offered the converse observation that some of the worst terrorist murderers, such as the San Bernardino jihadis, appear to be fairly well-assimilated.

“We can have homegrown radical Islamist terrorists – and I don’t really think they’re homegrown, I think they’re inspired or directed by foreign Islamist terrorist organizations – but it’s this ideology of hate that either is being communicated to them over the Internet, or is being passed on to members of separated communities in the U.K. It’s the ideology we have to confront, and I think this problem is worse in these separate communities,” Fleitz said.

Fleitz argued that measures to hinder the ability of extremists to recruit and coordinate with the Internet should be explored, with due regard for civil liberties, but he is more concerned about “radical clerics and radical mosques who are promoting this type of hate and ideology firsthand.”

“I also want to stop these ISIS videos that we know homegrown radical Islamist terrorists are taking in, and it’s playing a role in radicalizing them,” he added.

“I think 9/11 was a wake-up call. You could just see how Republicans and Democrats in Washington were working together against the threat. Now we’re challenged by political correctness, and people who are in denial, and don’t want to the let the government take the steps it has to take to go after radical Islam,” Fleitz reflected.

“Whenever there’s a radical Islamic terrorist attack, we get these lectures about Islamophobia from our leaders, leaders in the U.K. I think that is really hobbling the ability of our government to go after this threat, and that’s unfortunate. I hope what happened in London will be a wake-up call, but I’m worried in a few weeks we’ll be lectured about Islamophobia again,” he said.

“Anyone who raises concerns about radical Islam seems to be tarred and feathered as an Islamophobe in this country. I’ll let the people who peddle this term give a better explanation, but that’s my experience,” he replied when Pollak asked for a precise definition of “Islamophobia.”
