Fuck me how stupid is this
On current form how can RG not start
Rassie and his blind spot when it comes to locks
Unforgivable
04 Nov 2024, 19:42#2
Planet Rugby suggest that Nortje will start yes.
He is a solid player and Rassie seems to like a little bit lighter Lock together with a heavy Duty one like Eben.
RG will be on the bench with Mostert.
Maybe because RG gets hurt so quickly, he is being managed carefully with the eye on WC 27?
So essentially only playing him that last 30 or 20 minutes, reduces his chances of getting injured.

It’s pathetic that given RG’s current form that he is not starting ahead of pretenders like Nortje and Mostert - it’s fucking insulting
Rassie is a fucking idiot when it comes to locks

Plum I have said that Rassie is a rugby genius and I stand by that but he is certainly not perfect or near perfect - if he was we would be winning 95% of our games and we would not have lost the last 3 of 4 against Ireland or won by such small margins at times.
I don’t buy into playing a lock that can effect loads of tackles, it’s simply not the job of a lock. If Rassie wants one of his forwards making loads of tackles then task one of his loosies to do that.
Do we see Ireland playing a lightweight unimposing lock at 5 who makes loads of tackles - no we don’t - they play a real lock like James Ryan
I will never subscribe to playing lightweight locks in modern test rugby, it sells us short where it counts
The biggest issue for me is that if we are going to play a lighter lock at 5 then it needs to be a Matfield who to his credit bulked up to 117kg but was always a super athlete with real rugby skill.
Mostert has never been a good rugby player, do you ever see him running a great line or effecting a great pass - things that set him apart as something special to counter the fact he offers nothing physically.
Nortje is pretty much the same player but with better allround skills but certainly nothing that makes him special
There are so many better lock options in SA right now and always have been while Mostert has played.
So no we need real locks on board, big guys that impose themselves and have good skill sets like Eben, RG and Lood

Lood imposing himself is a dream…. He is so clumsy he falls over his own feet.
There is absolutely no video evidence proving Lomp is in anyway more influential then Mostert?? If there is then pls provide this evidence.
On the contrary Mostert played a very important role in the back to back WC wins….
So you can say that he is not good or this or that, because the Genius thinks differently. Evidence him being in the squad again.
So it’s your personal bias that is blinding you and proving that your opinion on Mostert is as always wrong.

Mpower stop speaking shit - Lood at 125kg is a big physical guy who has always imposed himself physically
Saying he is not more physical than 112kg Mostert is insulting
There is a reason Matfield said Lood was the best 5 in the game - it was not for his try scoring or passing
Lood is on par with PSDT in breaching the advantage line with ball in hand - something Mostert and Nortje are not
What important role did Mostert play ? Making tackles - give me a break
Mostert is literally shit
07 Nov 2024, 10:41#12
Well it is not always the conclusion that if the guy is bigger in build and weighs more, that he is necessarily more physical?
It is also very important how he applies his bigger build/more weight to be dominant.
Mostert is prove of this. Kwagga and FaF is also proof, they punch way above there actual weight/Stature.
So I think that it’s a bit naive just to assume that because the guy is bigger and heavier, he is more physical.

Agreed Rooi knowing Rassie useless Mostert will start with RG on the bench
07 Nov 2024, 15:33#18
Haha even Uncle clever is now calling Rassie a idiot…..
Goeie Fok you guys are hypocrites…..
But if Me , Moz, Pakie and Plum dare say anything, we are hallucinating Dumbfucks LMAO!!
You guys are funny ha ha!!
I Think because Mostert hasn’t played a lot since his leg break, it would be better to start RG that is in good Form….Bring Sous of the bench.

Still banging on about Kaino that was anything but a swat - one would swear the very physical Kaino dominating Lood years and years ago somehow defines the guy for life?
Fuck me that would mean Bismark was a powder puff because Eben sat him on his arse - get a grip
Lood is twice the player useless Mostert is - not only does he lack grunt there is absolutely nothing special about him as a player at all. He is probably the worst Bok to have ever played 50 tests for the Boks as he must be closing in on that
Fuck me he could not even clean out an 18 year old full back - that’s how fucking useless he is

Chat GPT Response to Following Question :
How does Rassie Erasmus see Franco Mostert?
Rassie Erasmus has a high regard for Franco Mostert and values his versatility, work ethic, and commitment. Mostert, a lock by trade, often plays in multiple positions, including blindside flanker, because of his athleticism, stamina, and ability to cover various roles in the pack. Erasmus sees him as a “workhorse” — someone who brings relentless energy and commitment to every game, often covering more ground than most forwards. His tackling, line-out skills, and mobility are assets that fit well with the Springbok strategy.
Erasmus appreciates players who are adaptable and can execute multiple roles, and Mostert embodies that flexibility, making him a valuable asset in Erasmus’s selection and game-day planning. His adaptability has been crucial, especially in tournaments where squad depth and the ability to adjust to injuries or tactical needs become essential.
P.S. Chat GPT has no Bias and simply states the truth. So even this AI can’t deny the Attributes Mostert brings to the game of Rugby.

Mostert is fucking useless and I mean that sincerely - unless of course the measure of my Bok lock is making 12 process tackles a game and taking his line out ball
07 Nov 2024, 22:27#26
Howzit Blobbie….well I feel I am debating with Dave….yes I do realise that it’s most probably absolutely useless, as I will never convince him about Sous.:)
