I wish everyone would stop talking about foul play and sh!t. For years NZL have gone in to games against SA talking up how dirty our men are and the off the ball shit. It is part of their pussy little plan to get the ref's attention on the Boks before the game so they can get away with more. I am sure of it.
As much as we read it, the refs are only human too. They are also reading it and thinking, "Shit, I gota watch out for this during the game!"
The AB's paint the Boks with this thuggery brush whilst they portray themselves as the epitomy of legal, hard rugby so it flicks a switch in refs heads and we are watched a lot more closely that even when we make the tackle of the year, it ultimately leads to a red card.
Just let the game run its course and let the players sort their shit out. I see the AB fan girls love nothing more than a 1 sided test where Boks have less than 15 on the park. Well we dont you little queers. We want 15 on 15 all game!
Its long time been a plan or trait of the All Blacks to speak about foul play leading up to a test. They are the masters of the pre-match trend setting. Just make sure your guys broom sweeps clean.
I mean, you dont hear the Boks going on about Nonu and his thuggish style of play or how Read and McCaw love to role through the ruck instead of away or just linger in a position that costs the attacking scrummy time. They just play the game.
