Machete attack on Clermont players

Sorry.....I thought this had posted this before, it must have buffered in some way. Thunderstorms a plenty here...you might have seen some if them in the news.

3000 lightening strikes in 3hrs in Thursday night/Friday morning, worst electrical storms in 24 years. We had a thunderstorm and hailstorm at the same time yesterday evening. Not had one of those in my rememberance ! All gone rather crazy here.....
So please accept my apologies.
Bit nasty, isn't it ? Clermont seem most angry about the situation. 

 Seems senseless. Even if the boys did something to upset their attackers (which they may not have) It is way over the top.

I don't think there is ever an excuse for that sort of thing ! 
Unless you are fighting for your life, maybe.
I doubt that was the case here !!!

That means that whomever ripped off Phil de Glanville's face deserved it too, did he ? Oh, but that happened to be one or maybe more of your All Black's !! And did Jamie Joseph deserve it for smashing Kyran Bracken's ankle to bits during the same Tour ? No ? 
The Welsh player who stamped on Ian Hunter's eye and detached his Retina ? 
They all deserve to be attacked by men with machete's/swords and knives do they ? 
My god, you lot really do have a warped attitude to life. 
And before you say it, Phil Greening should have faced sanctions for what he did to Rougerie all those years ago. If you actually even know about that given it didn't involve anyone from the SH !! 

 Come now Sasquatch, the other guys had swords and mach etes. They weren't provoked,  they were looking for mischief.  You make it out as if this was a good thing.

Sasuke San, with the greatest of respect, that seems a little harsh mate. 
Even if these three guys did something untoward nothing warrants an attack with knives and machetes.
