looking at the Bok squad again, i relaised it wasnt as bad as when it first read it, i think the selection of certain players like gunthro who has been past his best for a while and du preez who hasnt played top level footy in ages may have played too much of a WTF??? role in me being able to objectively consider the current squad as a whole, cos it dosent look that bad.

if i was to pick a starting 23 for the big matches against the wallabies and Boks, then i would select,,,,
1 beast, 2 a strauss, 3 c oosthuizen, 4 e ezebeth, 5 flip van der mewe 6 f louw, 7 m coetzee, 8 d vermeulen, 9 r pienaar, 10 m steyn, 11 b habana, 12 JDV, 13 j serfontein, 14 jj englebrechet, 15 w le roux
16 b du plesiss, 17 j du plesiss, 18 t nyakane, 19 j kruger, 20 w alberts, 21 j veermak, 22 p lambie, 23 z krichner

its not the Boks storngest team with some of their top players still away, and i still think they could have done a bit better during the selection process, but with what they have, they can still assemble a team to get the job done and quite frankly ive seen worse Bok teams then this one i picked.

It bugs me that you rate Marcell Coetzee haha! 

Would pick Kolisi over him everyday, it's not a bad squad and I wouldn't be too annoyed if Fourier Du Preez started or came off the bench and in fact I'd be more annoyed if Pienaar started over Jano Vermaak. Guthro is a bit of a stupid selection but seeing how Marcell Van Der Merwe has only recently come back and isn't yet fully proven at Super XV level and Malherbe is injured it is slightly understandable.

Just as long as Sideshow Bob doesn't get picked over Le Roux I'll be happy.
