According to this article, Malcolm Marx will replace Bongi Mbonambi on the Springbok bench on Saturday.

There will be at least one enforced change when Pieter-Steph du Toit is expected to replace the injured Lood de Jager and I will be surprised if Juan de Jongh keeps his place in the starting XV.

Coetzee names his team this evening around 7pm.

I'll be very happy if Marx is included in the match 23, he is our best hooker at the moment. I disagree regarding De Jongh Rooi, I am almost certain he will keep his place...unfortunately. PSDT is an improvement on Lood, and he will be playing in the position in which he is best.

No more disparaging remarks about Lood Please. Lood if fit  should be at lock with Du toit at 7.
Marx should start with Akkers on bench. That said I think Straus has been okay but I also think Akkers is vastly underrated.
Great pity the US Open is over.  Wonder how long Coetzee will survive?

I'm intrigued how Coetzee keeps the colour-counters happy ....... going by previous team selections, SA rugby's MVP* Fckikili Mbabalulula wants at least five POC in the starting XV & two on the bench  ................. remember this is the oak who put the cricketers on his sh!tlist when they failed to reach their 60% target, failing dismally, achieving a paltry 55% only.

What foreigner would take this job ? Coetzee's not free to select his best team & he had no say with regard the selection of his assistants (except Proudfoot) .

Bob it's a sad racist induced mess. Until we adopt merit it' s not going to happen. Then we have all these other issues that need resolving. These are dark days for SA Rugby which is disintegrating before our eyes.

 Puzzling?
Is Coetzee preparing for Strauss' departure?
Is he sidelining Mbonambi already? Surely Mbonambi is expected to take over the 2 jersey once Strauss leaves??
Isn't that how things usually work?
Apparently not!!
He'll probably come back to the bench once Strauss leaves ... and will more than likely be happy to sit their for the rest of his useless international career.

yeah, this is an indictment of the bullshit quota system
Mbonambi is better than Strauss
Marx is better than Mbonambi
Mbonambi is put on the bench ahead of Marx so that Coetzee can meet his quotas

Load of cr@p man.

Im so sick of the ANC.
