Things are winding down in the terrible weather. We have a 7 point lead and there's a scrum 40 metres from our line....with minutes to go. But scarily Malherbe has been subbed on. Down goes the scrum....Malherbe twisted slightly in to try to stay up ....for a second it works, but snap he breaks like a twig.....Bargie penalty. It took a great Louw effort to save the try attempt from the lineout.

The 365 ratings are rubbish. Here's the real scoop.

Willie 5....he took one or two good balls but made lots of mistakes

Hendricks 4...his tackling was putrid

De Allende 3...missed both his tackles

Jean 5...nothing either way

Habana 5 ....nothing either way

Pollard 4...lots of mistakes, some decent tackles

Pienaar 6...nice response to get the try, some aimless kicking

Beast 4...he was monstered a few times

Bismarck 5....poor lineout throws, unable to impose himself.

Jannie 5 ...struggled with the pressure of our loosehead caving, but held

Bakkies 6....a solid performance, nothing spectacular

Lood 5...lost his lineout, missed tackles, lomped around....now known as Lomp

Louw 9...saved the Boks

Coetzee 5....outmuscled, lots of process tackles.

Vermeulen 7...Second best Bok after Louw, imposed himself.

Morne...5 added some nous but a poor charged kick

Strauss 6...huge in the goal line defence

Etzebeth 7...so much more purposeful than Lomp

What a horrible set of issues for HM. The newbies were nowhere and the returning players were rusty. Frankly we need Steenkamp in the scrums and Alberts to add some muscle. Pollard can't start in Bargieland. And having de Allende and Hendricks defending out wide is scary.

More accurate than the spelling bee runner-up at Rugby365. Morne more of a 3, his high kicks were atrocious and that chargedown a disaster. Louw superb, Vermeulen strong in all facets of play. Etzebeth showed some fire. Difficult conditions, few questions answered other than the Louw/Coetzee issue. It's no contest. Not much else to say.

Are you bloody crazy - what game did you watch?   I knew beforehand what you would write.   It is cscary that you can even want Morne Steyn at flyhalf after he nearly cost us the game and was piss poor throughout.  He still is the same - he does not know when to kicxk and when to pass balls.   FBall recover in turnover (Minute 56) - five players outside of him and thjree defenders and the idiot made an aimless kick  and then that charge-down where DE Allende made a try saving dive to keep the ball out of the hand of the Argentine player.   That one shouuld gert 2 points for those two efforts alone.
Then you went on about  DE Allende - but he missed two tckles in following up aimless kicks by Pienaar.   Fine that was a problem - yet he was the only player who showed even the slightest sign of ability to carry balls.
de Allende0/002/2/65501000/20/000/0 De Villiers gets lauded but what did he in fact produced:-
de Villiers0/001/5/51000012/10/020/0
Answer bugger all - zip - nothing in ball carries and he gave away two penalties and lost possession of the ball once.
Then you laud Bakkies and what did he produce:-
Botha0/000/1/1000002/13/000/0
Was he in fact playing fior half the game or was he playing for 15 minutes?  Made 2 tackles,  missed 1 and  and took 3 line outs.   "a solid performance, nothing  spectacular"   An absent performance - nothing spectacular is the real situation.Incidentally Botha also lost one of the few line outs he attempted.
de Jager0/000/1/3100008/16/010/0
"lost his lineout, missed tackles, lomped around....now known as Lomp"    Are  yiou bloody dim - he took most line outs - missed one and then the normal lie - missed tackles.  He missed one.  De Jager attempted 9  tackles and missed 1.  Botha attempted  3 tackles and missed 1.  Botha produced nothing through out the half of the game he was on the field of play 0- but he was solid.  Best way to describe your allegations here is summarized in one word BULLSHIT
Going thriough you ratings it is evident that the bugger-ups was concealed and one-sided and often enough lies took over.   The piss-poor players gets lauded and the players who tried something denigrated.    What a bloody useless and biased moron you are.

Lood was ordinary...the difference when Etzebeth came on was apparent. The lineout calls were poor and he reacts slowly. Lomp indeed.
De Allende has a tackling problem as we know from his S 15 tackling stats....the ABs will carve him to pieces, not making one tackle in his first test. That has to be a record for a centre.
Malherbe has to be urgently replaced on the bench, if Jannie was hurt early we would have lost.

Y<ou are a tweisted individual.  Really twisted.  If it ws not for De Akllende - th e Pum,as woiuld habe won after the kick chargedown of Morne' kick - no mention.  De Allende missed two tackles when chasinmg after bloody aimless kicks -  not in standard backline moves.  De Cilliers did bugger-all in ball carries - De Allende did very well - no mention.   Yousaid he has a tackling problem - and you lied about Super as well - the centers with a tackling problem was Francois Steyn and Juan de Jongh - they had tackling problems and serious ones at that.
As to Jannie - now your National Treasure was a serious disaster in scrumming - he folded in most scrums and that is a fact.  But then he had Bakkies in the first half supporting him - and we know that means zero support by the lock.
Now we know you want DE Jongh - the defensive sieve in the team - as well as Cilliers - but then the latter folded badly against the Bulls in scrumming - that after the Bulls were demolsihed last week by the Lions scrums.
What we urgently need is a proper scrummie that does not donkey kick all balls away and to sent back Morne and the rest of the flops to France - And that includes Bakkies Botha.
The more I read about your player assessments - the more I get the impression of a twisted individual.   Must be terrible to be like that.

Cilliers was fine in all the scrums today. Jannie was fine as well, our issue was on the loosehead side, where Lomp was pushing seeing as how you raised the locks. De Allende has a defence issue, this is what rugby24 said:

Damian de Allende: 5.5

In fairness, not the ideal opportunity to gauge his suitability to outside centre. Erratic showing, however, and perhaps that contributed to his involvement in a bit of handbags on the stroke of halftime. Let’s not forget he was short of game-time entering this debut.

Spot on by this writer. Not a fair chance, but rain doesn't affect tackling and defensive nous,. This guy is not pushing forward like Fury or JP...and he is laterally vulnerable. Just like Jacob Taute.

The RC is a hard school. Unless he gets a lot  more effective defensively he won't last long. There is no excuse for a centre making no tackles..zero, nada.

Are you sick or can you not read.
his guy" is not pushing forward like Fury or JP...and he is laterally vulnerable. Just like Jacob Taute."
Lets look at it this way.  Fury made some massive puhes forward = he made 13 meters territory gaim in three tests = massive pushes.   Really massive gains
De Allende was the only player in the SA team that made any real territory gains today.  He carried the ball 6 times with a gain in territory of 55 meters.   So he is not pushing forward.
He missed two tackles when chasing after a ball that was kicked and that suddenly makes him laterally vulnnerable.   There was no line tackles involved - De Villiers made two line tackles and missed 1 - so is he laterally vulnerable as well?
Mozart I am prepared to admit that he missed two tackles - which jhe should nt have - but I think t make that career-defining is bullshit.   How many tackles have Francos D teyn missed this year that led to tries for the opposition - the misses by De Allende let to nothing - but that is not career defining".     My advice to you is if you make statements - check your facts - but that is not Mozart's way of doing it - ignore the facts and stick to disinformation.

Pushes on defence, you know, the way Jean does, the way Conrad Smith does. Watch the centres some time, you might get it.

You are prepared to admit that he missed two tackles? Really? What a concession, although one might ask what alternative you had.
Let me explain. De Allende is a big reasonably fast player, it's conceivable he could be a test centre. But until he proves it, it's just a guess.
So as we watch a player like de Allende, we hope to see some evidence that potential flaws are being addressed by the player and the coaches. If we look at how Ashley Cooper defends, how Conrad smith defenders, we see a lot of technique. Not just in terms of the tackles, but also in terms of positioning.
Nothing I saw today suggests that he has progressed in either way. He didn't push up to close space, but the Argies did, very well in fact.
PersonallyI think he is better suited to 12, but in either position he is very raw....ergo, it's not  at all clear that de Allende is the answer at 13.

 Mozarrt
The weather conditions yesterday was extremely poor and that accounts for poor performances by virtually all the players - bar perhaps the loosies.   I was not impressed by any players in the SA side.
To make out that specific players were poor and did not impress one has to stick to facts and not create fiction.   Lets face facts - to say for instance that Bakkies Botha was good enough and De Jager was not - is rubbish - especially since the latter did much more work on the field of play than Botha did.
Meyer was probably right before the game when he spoke to the commentators.  He said that De Allende was off for months and did not play in any matches at all.  He also for the first time in years played in the 13 position.    To  Then go on and make a one-sidd assessment is not fair and reasonable either.
Lets take the case of Morne Steyn and Pollard.   Pollard made two kick in errors and made on ball knock on when attacking the gain line.   For the rest there was nothing wrong with his game.   When he was replaced - Morne started off badly in minute 57 for instance.   The charge down kick was a shocker = much worse than anything Pollard did all day long.   I cannot say that because Pollard made the mistakes mentioned that he was poor  and that Morne was better.  Morne Steyn was not better at all - he was in fact a negative and a poor one at that.
I do not think that Meyer is going to make any changes to the team for next Saturday and that is a fact.  Meyer is not going to make the kind of  cockeyed assessments you have made - but he will certainly insist  that players up their game.
Incidentally there were two matches played yesterday - and in total one try scored in the two matches.  The weather conditions in Sydney was poor - in Pretoria shockingly so.   The backlines of all four teams made so many handling errors - it is unbelievable.   So neither McKenzie nor Hansen will go into crisis mode and start dropping players left right and center.
In a way I was glad the Springboks struggled yesterday - they did not in the home games in the last two years and went off to Argentina in holiday mood - nearly getting unstuck in the process in both years.   They will have to start working harder. One thing I mentioned earlier was that Ireland - the 6 Nations champions - went on tour to Argentina - and they Pumas played some real rookies against them.   Virtually half of their friontline players were not used in the Irish test series - yet the Irish struggled against the Pumas and had to fight for each of their narrow-margin wins.
In conclusion - to rsush off and make unreasonable assessments of player performances of what happened yesterday is both unreasonable and unrealistic.   Where I do have prroblems is where players produced very little of value and was not up to standard from a work rate perspective.  That remains a problem whether you like it or not.

Bakkies a 6 bwhaaahaaaaa did he play he was awol all game and should not be there. Corner was not out muscled once, he had a good game. There were few positives in that game but given the conditions it's difficult to judge. It's a Bok side sold short by Meyer and that will be exposed by oz and nz.
Moz this is not the real scoop it's just your bias shinning through - look no further than your inaccurate takes on coetzee and bakkies

You guys with your stats crack me up....  you can read what you want into stats.  But at least copy and paste the headings for the stats so the rest of us know what all the zeros are for.
