Supposedly Jannie can't tackle and I have to admit, he is not the best. But how about Malherbe, he missed 5 tackles and only made 5 :

Sorry - but I did not see him missing that many tackles. What I did see and what Mallett said after the game was that Malherbe performed very well and his defence was better than Jannie. I would rather believe that one coming from Mallet - than your constant shocking nitpicking. He may have missed five tackles - but none left to any scoring of tries.
There is nothing wrong with Malherbe's main function - namely scrumming - or did you find anyting wrong with it?
Mozart
Not dishonest - I am not denying that he missed tackles - though I shall have to watch the game again to see where and when it happened. I quoted what Mallett said after the game - when he said Malherbe had a very good game - that is all.
However, what is intellectually dishonest is that you tried desperately to find something to use to discredit Malherbe - like you normally do with players you dislike. In other cases you are constantly ignoring the same stats and then openly spread lies about players - so this is nothing new.
Mozart
When you assess a players performance you have to be HONEST - you look at where he did well and where there are shortcomings. You have two norms -
* in the case of players you like - you try desperately to find positives and disregard completely any negatives the players have;
* in cases of players you do not favour - you never look at positives and search only for negatives.
That is why your opinion on players is such a farce and dishonest to boot. You let the cat out of the bag though with your latest remark about Jannie. You will find it hard o accept - but Malherbe is going to replace Jannie sooner rather than later.
No OOM, unlike you I am factual about what happens on the field. For example, I'm not a Flip fan , but I gave him full credit for a good test. Likewise I have always rated Louw, but today I said he wasn't effective. I call what I see, and today I saw nothing that convinces me Malherbe is anointed.

Lets put it plainly - you see what you want to see and then add fabrications to it. When the stats said that De Jongh is poor in defence - you ignored it and tried to excuse the missed tackles by saying he is such a strong defender - that is the reason for him missing the tackles. When the stats say Alberts today carried the ball seven times making in total of 1 Meter in territory gain - he was credited with huge ball carrying by you.
You wanted to see nothing about Malherbe - so you did not see anything.
The above is why your rating of players is such a farce - it is based on dishonesty and prejudice - nothing else.
