Never knew DDA started as a wing? I think he might be to slow for wing now.....even mallet thinks Willemse should be @ 12....and Am on his side...if R&N don't do something new, I think oz will beat us.

The All-Black attack was good, but the backline defence of the Boks was not as good as usual.
The 6/2 split is not working.
Faff got injured in the 1st test, so Willie Leroux missed most of the game as he was the only backline cover.
In the 2nd test, Delande played most of the game at the outside centre, as was routinely exposed on defence.
I also commented during the Wales game when Kolbe got injured that it does not make sense to rejig the whole backline to replace a wing.
Willie Leroux has played wing for much of his career. While he is not as fast as he used to be, he is not slow. He can probably run as fast as Delande.

DDA has become complacent in his Role as incumbent 12....Willemse and co. Is knocking harder on the door....they more hungry and bring different skill sets to his own....not to say his is weak, but not on par with what is needed in our Midfield.

Mallett is the best coach of all time in Block rugby... but his analysis seems to be too oriented to the masses to win approval. I don't believe Mallett ever truly in his heart backed these chumps like De Lindy. It just doesn't make sense, Mallett's team had hard bastards specifically... so no way he'd ever have a De Lindy in his team... but as a pundit you have to politic for ratings... the stupid yarpies worshipped the useless De Lindy since day 1.
