The Argies were putting alot of pressure on him, and as a scrumhalf you are facing the opposition- when your backline is behind you.
A flyhalf has the opportunity to run onto the ball and look at his options on the left and right, with more time and space.
When Pollard did get the ball he looked like a loose forward instead of trying to run the show, like putting players into space. Willie Leroux was the decision maker on all of the passing wide movements.
