In the pack it was the youngsters who stood out. How good are Kitshoff, Malherbe, Etzebeth, Elstadt, Kolisi and Vermeulen. Elstadt is pushing hard for the Bok 7 jersey, the guy is all power.

Good win for the Stormers, they did seem to lose steam in the second half. Good alround performance. Grant was very good. One certainty is that Habana is no centre, the guy has poor hands, he cant pass and just does not have the instincts of a 13.

The let downs in the side were Liebenberg and Fourie, bit stupid at times with the penalties they gave away - none more so than Liebenberg pushing a player in a line-out - how stupid is this guy - I really dont rate him. The Stormers could do with a dynamic new hooker. I like Fourie but he is not very physical

Agree with you 100% - especially also insofar as Liebenberg is concerned.   His line out throws gave away7 a try and was wildly erratic.   However, on average he is too good a player to similarly through out because of one poor performance.

That penalty was one of the most stupid ever - end of story.

About the kids - remeber the seniors were missing and the kids still produced the goods.   It did not look like with their depleted ranks through injury the Stormers were really going for a win in the Crusader game - too many disruptions through injury replacements.

They were forced to start with a makeshift team and that team brought it home.   The star amongst the youngsters was Etzebeth - and he is the real thing.   I am not really an Elstadt man as yet  - but Kolisi plays better every match he is in.

Elstadt is now a serious Bok contender for the 7 jersey. Cant wait for Burger to get back he adds a real edge to the pack. Kolisi has faded a bit over the last few games. He was quiet against the crusaders.

I hope yet to see our pack at full strength particulalry should we play the crusties again so that we can blow these pretenders away. The Hurricanes gave them a very good go in the second half this morning.

Liebenberg as the nz commentators has been outstanding and is pushing for a Bok spot. If Bissie's game slips or he is injured Liebenberg could get in. His scumming prowress is very real and a must if Bissie isnt there for any reason.

We still also have not seen Kitshoof and Malherbe starting as props. Would like to see that and our best pack including Burger.

I understand the reason for not committing to many to the ruck but would like to see at times more players comitted to the ruck and us driving over and wining the ball - as a variation of tactic.
