Mapimpi broken cheekbone

This was only a penalty...not a yellow...according to the same ref that wanted to send Eben off for a basic accident.

I was actually okay with that call as the Tongan player was clearly trying to lower the tackle (he was down on one knee by the time of the hit), but Mapimpi's bent over running style put their heads on a collision course. Letter of the law it had to be a card, of course.

Sorry to hear this as Mpimpi was a first choice wing for me.

Yup, it is one of those things. It is just that the Tongan players skull is thicker than Mpimpis. 

Don't think we miss much with Mpimpi. The boks have two weeks to prepare and get someone to come in. 

Agree on Am, haven't played for a while and didn't look to be in form during the warm up games this season. That said, Kriel continues to frustrate me. 

If Am is fit and can last a whole game, we need him at 13. Move Moodie to the wing. Arendse has gone a bit off the boil in the last few games. Doesn't help us to have to might midgets on both wings. 

Will be interesting to see what bench the boks pack for the quarters, if we make it
