Match stats a revelation
This All Black side reminds me more of the 2003 side. Not the well rounded team of 2005 to 2011. They have more weaknesses and can be dominated with the boot and in the air. This hasn't been the case for many, many years. They have to run at you or they are out of their element.
AO we beat your rush defense by hoisting it into the air every time from our half so we dont make mistakes from our half seeing you are hellbent on contesting every ruck.
We matched you in the set pieces of scrum and lineouts although I think Marx has a problem with throwing straight and he cheats by curving it like Beckam or blatantly throws it crookedly to your side.
Our exits from our 22 have been safe with no intercepts and no brain implosions.
Maybe your wing should have got a yellow and we get a penalty try for his deliberate tap down of the ball when we clearly have a 2 man overlap.
Also Augus the ref accusing Aaron Smith for deliberately throwing an attacking flat pass on your 5 metre line into your lazy player when we were hot on attack was laughable - Now the ref are policing intent??? The ref should blow what is infront of him - We are hot on attack and one of your players was a lazy runner who made NO attempt to get out of the way.
This All Black side is not aerially dominant as before and not guided by the boot as in the Carter years. Given that Damian and Kriel were defending the defence did very well. The All Blacks weren't very threatening until a but into the second half. It didn't feel as though they had much say in the game at all until that point.
I agree that policing intent is an iffy power to have, but I don't have a a problem with that call. Dyantyi could easily have had a yellow. I think if a player's hands come down onto the ball, it should be an automatic yellow. If they scoop up, then no.
The Books were very strong in the scrum until Malherbe departed. We had the edge in the lineout and dismantled the All Black maul, which has been a big weapon for them. They were out kicked for most of the game and struggled to assert themselves without field position.
A very good team, but they not as well rounded as before. Sonny was a failure. I can't recall ever seeing an All Black 12 have such a poor game. Crotty and Laumape for me any day. Goodhue was missed. Considering we Damian, we were still more disadvantaged.
To be quite frank I think the AB centers were outplayed by De Allende and Kriel. A pity Goodhue did not play - but I think it is time to stop thinking of SBW as an international center. His performances seems to be on the decline since 2015 and I think it is time to think of a new center combination for the AB's. What about Laumape and Goodhue?
Sonny was terrible, Damian wasn't much better. Damian was hopelessly out of his depth and made scores of errors. Sonny didn't make as many mistakes. Not by a long shot. He is not a 12. He is a 13 who can't defend.
Organhuffer is now obsessed about Allende who had a sound game. Organhuffer time to bail out on this errror and admit you were dead wrong. Kriel and Allende outplayed their counterparts. indeed, it is very clear the Boks outplayed the Kiwis who got a freakish win.
One trust all the nonsense about Du Toit at 7 can be put to bed now . Hahahahhahahaha
Glad to see to see Organhuffer admitting that we have a very fine coach. Educating folks can take time but facts trump fiction in the end. Moz appears to be realising the error of his ways judging by the stats he is quoting.
How very nice to be correct from the begining! Take a bow Beeno!
Beeno
Read the other threads as well - Mozart and AO is still attacking Erasmus relentlessly and I cannot find anything other than BS they use against him.
You will never be able to change the twisted minds of Mozart and Co about the players they hate.
The players on that list are -
* Willemse - new addition;
* Kriel - by next week the attack on him will be back on their list.
* De Allende
* Du Toit
* De Jager
* Malherbe - temporary quiet - but he will be back on their list
There assessment of those players have noting to do with their performances and to get to their statements they do not mind to use devious means and is not beyond lying!!!!!!!!!!!
Damian did no such thing. Will make for interesting viewing when all the footage is compiled. Damian's entire season up for review. Where will the giddy fangirls hide? I warn them to quieten the tongue, it'll make it easier for themselves when all is revealed later. I personally have nothing to worry about. I've been very consistent with game footage.
@Lügnerin: You had to lie to pad out your list. I rated Steph 8.5 in the Wallaby test and a high mark against Los Pumas. Where's the hate? I rated him a 7.5 for the Wellington test inspire of his errors. Where's this hate campaign you speak of? The difference between you and I is that I speak of the pros and the cons of every player. I hide nothing and weigh up their contributions before giving them a grade, you automatically pencil in numbers based on the name.
I have yet to "attack" Malherbe. I wasn't convinced by him before the RC, buy he changed my mind by playing consistently well. Where's the hate? If anything, this severely cripples your narrative.
I lauded Willemse on his positive contributions, I said he'd be competing for 10 in a couple of years. He clearly isn't anywhere near ready right now. Where's the hate?
Damian has done nothing to show he has an aptitude for test rugby. He simply isn't good enough. He has no physicality whatsoever, his defence is absolutely shocking, he has poor skills, is languid and uncompetitive, robs his teammates of space, slows down the attack and leaves us having to fight for the ball once he is tackled. He is useless. He is not a 12, but a 13 with no defence. He needs space to be effective. Kolisi did what he should have been doing for Kriel. How embarrassing for the Damian fangirls.
Damian literally ran in a straight line before and after Kolisi got the ball. It was so easy anyone on here would have scored that.
So the attack is now only om De Allende - which has been ongoing for 4 years by the same crazy characters. Wait another week and the all-out attacks on the others will resume.
What a load of fraudsters and liars our self-proclaimed world rugby analysts are. They virtually accused Erasmus for treason for replacing Le Roux yesterday - yet the idiots did not realize his replacement as injury-enforced. After becoming aware of that that the attacks ceased. Are they normal or not? I think not.
