I find the act unacceptable and condemn it in the strongest possible way, that said, I don't believe it's the norm at Loftus neither do I believe it's unique to Loftus fans to behave in such a disgusting manner. It could happen on any field anywhere in the world.
Aristocat I agree re ref - he was biased agains the bulle - same old downunder cheating we keep seeing. he penalizing of kruger all the time showed this bias. Since when has kruger had trouble scrumiing in. The fifty fifty calls went one way. Bulle should nver have lost this game a sthey were clearly the better side.

The Bulls fan who allegedly hit Keven Mealamu on the head with a bottle has proclaimed his innocence.
However Johannes Nel, a 54-year-old boilermaker, has offered his sorrow to the home side.
"I apologise to the Blue Bulls Company, the public, the fans and South Africa," Nel told the IOL website, after he was arrested at Loftus Versfeld for the incident as the Blues upset the Bulls 29-23 in Pretoria on Sunday.
The Bulls fans claims he was concerned for winger Bjorn Basson who was injured by a dangerous tackle from Blues opposite Rene Ranger while scoring in the corner with the last act of the match.
Nel said he climbed the barrier to go to Basson's aid.
"I saw him lying on the field, I panicked and thought he was hurt. I moved down and climbed over the barrier to see if he was all right," Nel said.
Nel said Basson confirmed to him he was OK, but the player left a water bottle on the ground as he got up and moved away.
"I picked up the bottle, called his [Basson's] name, and as he looked around, I passed him his water. This is when it hit the Blues captain," Nel said in explanation of Mealamu being hit.
Nel and Mealamu were then involved in a confrontation that Basson and the Blues medical staff diffused.
Nel has been charged with assault but the case has yet to be heard.
Blue Bulls Company chief executive officer Barend van Graan told IOL no decision had been made on whether Nel would be barred from visiting Loftus.
"We are waiting for the outcome of the court case and will take it from there," he said.
Sanzar boss Greg Peters has said he wants "the book thrown" at Nel to act as a deterrant to fans encroaching on to grounds and has called for the Bulls to review security procedures at their ground.
Mealamu and the Blues have now moved to Cape Town to play the Stormers on Saturday (6.10am NZ time).
Would be nice to see a clip of the incident. This guy could be as slim as ou windpomp but fairness demands he be judged on evidence NOT on a desire to make an example of him. Could he be telling the truth and Kevin simply got his head in the way? Are we judging prematurely. It had sounded like a fact but here we have a bulle fan protesting his innocence. Who do we believe?
I caution anyone to believe a bulle fan but, as I said, he deserves a fair trial.
