Visiting Kamp SS is a bit like slowing down as you drive past the scene of an accident . . . you know you shouldn't but you do anyway.

I admit that I do pop in there once in a while because there is some hilarious stuff on there and I am actually genuinely interested to see how long they leave their All Black and Wallaby rugby forums up . . . despite never having a visit from a single Kiwi or Aussie (other than Wardad who stayed for about 30 seconds).

The other day, Ubergruppenhauptfuhrer Von Barlee posted a preview of the Argentina vs New Zealand game on the normal Kamp SS rugby site and Owen Meany quite understandably suggested that Ubergruppenhauptfuhrer Von Barlee had posted his preview on the wrong forum , but Ubergruppenhauptfuhrer Von Barlee replied quite indignantly that the normal Kamp SS rugby site was for SA fans to discuss rugby, while the "All Black Rugby Forum" (chuckle) was set up for New Zealand rugby fans to discuss rugby amongst themselves. I thought that was very interesting indeed because from what I'd seen, the "All Black Rugby Forum" was used pretty much exclusively by South Africans who wanted to tell hackneyed old sheep-shagging jokes, so I hopped along to see if there had been a sudden influx of Kiwi posters . . . but no, it was the same old South Africans telling sheep-shagging jokes and Ubergruppenhauptfuhrer Von Barlee himself and several other South Africans (not a single Kiwi in sight) prattling away on a forum that he himself had demarcated as being for New Zealanders only! I wonder if the small-minded Nazi would ban himself if he knew what a hypocrite he sounds like?

Anyway, I popped in again just now and had another good chuckle when I saw an article where yet another new moderator (I'm pretty sure they have more moderators than inmates!) was bemoaning the fact that the site has so few members and suggesting ways of increasing membership by advertising on other forums (very classy), embedding the Kamp SS URL in signatures used on other sites (even classier) or even bribing potential new members with the promise of being included in draws to win rugby jerseys . . . I kid you not!

I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to post on Kamp SS and I'm pretty sure I'll be verboten if I do but there's a little part of me that actually wants to help these rather desperate chaps so, knowing full well that servile little tattle-tales like Ceradyne are very quick to broadcast whatever I say here on that site, here are a few suggestions to the Kamp SS Sicherheitspolizei to help them grow their membership:

1. Stop deleting threads or comments that are not in line with the Kamp SS propaganda policy.
2. Stop banning posters who have the temerity to question your heavy-handed censorship policy.
3. Don't edit users posts without their knowledge or their permission.
4. If you ask a user to send you evidence of something via e-mail, don't then use that e-mail or its contents to blurt out that user's personal details and/or real name all over your website.
5. If you realize you've acted like a complete plonker, be a man and take your medicine . . . don't go running off like a big blubbering crybaby only to slink back weeks later when your Ubergruppenhauptfuhrer has deleted every trace of the poster who made you cry in the first place.
6. If you're going to have private forums that are only accessible for people with a certain number of posts, don't go into the system and edit a particular poster's number of posts for the sole purpose of attacking that poster when he's not there to defend himself while pretending that you've unbanned him.

Just some simple pointers. No need to thank me, I live to give. You'd think most website moderators wouldn't need to be told some of the things above . . . but the Kamp SS Sicherheitspolizei are not your everyday website moderators! That is for sure!

Rooinek

No wonder we have problems with that drip Ceradyne on this site - he is with Kamp SS - so now I know what to expect from him.   I called him Slap Pieletjie - because his rugby comments are about as much good as a soft penis is in trying to have sex .

Sasuke, my EPL performance is not bad, but not great either. I'm on 300 points which currently sees me in position 3347.

My biggest mistake was buying into all the Eric Lamela pre-season hype and banking on him getting goals (or even starts) for Spurs when I would have been much better off with Sigurdsson, Eriksen or Paulinho. You're only allowed 2 players from any one club and I have wasted my Tottenham allotment on a non-starter. I've now traded him for Eriksen so watch L amela start banging goals in! Grrrrr!

Anyway, I'm not surprised many of you ManUre supporters are less interested in the Premiership this year. I love the joke doing the rounds that David Moyes has waited 11 years to see Everton above ManUre on the table . . . and he's finally got it right!

By way of providing help, I'd offer this thought, the SS format is too opaque. I recall when I was posting there, a strong insistance to gather thoughts up into existing strings. Woe betide the poster who started a new string on a topic that could even vaguely be related to an existing string. That view has obviously become entrenched.

Consequently you  now  find massive, ancient strings dominate the Board....most of which have wandered off the topic. So at  first glance there is simply no way to know what is being discussed.

It's a nasty format. Time and again on these Boards we have seen that  an open format encourages interchange....a format like the one used on this site. We are certainly not as techy as SS, but so much more user friendly.

I hope that helps.

Sasuke, first prize would be David Moyes getting fired about three-quarters of the way through the season after getting ManUre into the bottom three and then Fergie coming out of retirement to take over the reins . . . only to be the manager of the club when they get relegated!

As much as I dislike ManUre, Ferguson was a truly great coach and it's a tough job for anyone to take over from such a legend, but Mourinho? Seriously? The man is a certifiable moron! Easily the most overrated coach in the Premiership. Chelski deserve him!

Come on you Spurs!

Ou Sopdoos Maaikie has a loud mouth while he is the one who shies away every time he gets caught out. Should we bump all the threads to the top again to see if you have grown a pair of balls to openly admit that you were bullshitting?

Wehe, not for the first time, the resident Kamp SS Gimp, aka untermensch Stu, starts yapping about my apparent obsession with Kamp SS literally within minutes of me posting something with Kamp SS in the title.

Hmmm . . . who is the obsessed one, I wonder? The person who talks about some of the amusing stuff on a different message board about twice a month . . . or one of the posters from that message board who responds to every comment I ever make about that site within about 5 minutes of me putting it up?

I picture untermensch Stu sitting every day of his life staring at his monitor, his eyes bulging, sweat trickling from his brow and with his fingers hovering just above the keyboard as he refreshes the sarugby.com forum every 2 minutes so that he won't miss Rooinek mentioning Kamp SS . . . just so he can be the first to tell everyone how obsessed I am!

Wehe!

Untermensch Stu, if you're reading this (and don't worry, we all know you are) I don't understand you "quoting" me as saying I couldn't care less about Kamp SS after I said quite clearly that I find Kamp SS very funny . . . even if the humour is unintentional. I do visit there quite often to get a few laughs and I don't deny it. If I don't make these posts of mine on there it's because I think I'm still banned and, also, I don't really like the fact that the various ubergruppenhauptfuhrers on there can edit the content of other people's posts to suit their own agendas.

PS Owen, soos altyd, ek waardeer jou integriteit en jou eerlikheid. Daai klomp lafaards verdien jou nie.

I popped on there the other day and what a joke, with all due respect to Afrikaans, but I'm sorry who the hell is going to join a site where every thread is hijacked by Afrikaans and these dimwits bang on in a language that effectively excludes the majority of posters out there. Yes we can all pick up a little Afrikaans but who the hell wants to read endless posts in a foreign language.

As for the moderating, don't get me started on that.......it was like being back at junior school, how some adults can sit around a table and conclude that its a positive thing to moderate a regular contributors posts is beyond me.......how fucking stupid are these people and they wonder why the site is dying a slow death.......talk about shooting oneself in the foot.

It really is a sad little circle

I don't have a problem with any South Africans using their home language on a South African website. I bet the majority of South African rugby supporters speak Afrikaans and if some Xhosa speaking fans had to come on here and post in Xhosa, I would have no problem at all with that . . . and I'd use Google translate if I was interested enough in their conversation.

Agree with you on the moderating. It's as if these losers are wielding some kind of authority for the first time in their sad and pathetic lives.

Bobbok, Owen Meany and Mata Hari are all excellent posters and even though Dork . . . I mean Duke . . . and I used to poke each other a lot, he was always a decent enough person. Not so sure about Stu though. I didn't really interact with him much when I posted there and always seemed like a bit of ja-boetie, a bit too eager to please everyone. I get the distinct impression that untermenschen Stu will do whatever the ubergruppenhauptsturmfuhrers tell him to do.

My issue with Afrikaans is that I don't understand it that well and therefore I tend to ignore the posts and I would not want to waste my time doing a google translate etc.

It excludes foreign posters, so effectively all the Kiwi and UK posters on here would be excluded from participating...........what happens on Kamp SS is that a post is started in English and then some fools respond in Afrikaans and then that's it.

Dont get me wrong I have no issue with Afrikaans, but it should not be used to answer an English thread........its rude in that it excludes those that dont know the language.

Yeah I liked Duke, Stu and Mata
